I just did this build after watching your video, and test it in Countdown.. Man this is the first time for me to face hunters with balls bigger than his tanky head 😂... What's the best shield to use with this build? Thanks for sharing this awesome build bro 👊🏼

PfE is pretty OP in an elite rich context. I wish defender drone scaled with blue cores like the shield. It's a good build, so is HB is a similar way. It's what I use to face-tank hunters.

Thank you for this build i just got the mask today opening boxes and got the rock and roll within 30 seconds of each other so can now make this build

been running this build but with emp, guard knee pads. at first I didn't use catharsis but it shines with this build ...and like you said at different stages swap out a piece or 2 for dmg. It's really flexible and also good for solo control points and open world. I run the oro smg (stacking) and an AKM with strained. might try using it with the survivalist now though for the extra pfe. Shield and drone or stinger hive depending on location

This is a powerful build in cases where you have many elites to tank and get those stacks up. In cases like countdown, you’re better off using obliterate with striker backpack since everything is getting killed almost immediately.

Is catharsis really helpful in legendary missions?

People think dps, skills and hybrid is the way to go. No no no young ones you have much to learn. U only need 1-2 reds and the rest blue and you shall have it all. I can do over 1mil with my Aegis.

@airborne1868 No, I am saying it is the norm. When you hear tank, you think thank you are usless and can't help you or your team, but every has yet to explore an all blues potential. What I mean as that no one uses an all blue.

@jamalthomas6040 in a way, yes. It's not always fun using the same thing over and over, but we all know this game is about creativity, and anything can work. An all blue is what one is looking for if you like running around taking hits and dishing it back out.

@@blazeblue5717 Not true , DZ for example is 70% all blue , Countdown challenging at least 50% all blue , legendary "tanks" all blue , heroic open world again 50% all blue . Saying " No one " is using all blue is just not true . All blue Striker builds are around for quite a while now . I wouldn't call it norm either , players have their preference / play style and luckily they vary , otherwise Striker would be the only build out there , which isn't the case . To each their own , nothing to learn here , just enjoy your play style .

the 1st 60ses sold 😂😂😂. imagine using the Scorpion shotgun on this build would be insane. This is Div1 Striker all over again

I like the concept but you have to give up so much damage just to be able to sit there and take punishment. If this was an all red build (or mostly red) you are hitting for 1.4 million per bullet. In theory you kill quicker and would not need as much survivability...well for being in a group anyways. BUT solo play this is definitely a killer build. And the best part is, it is so easy to put together.

It works really well in difficult legendary missions like capital and tidal so I use this all the time to do damage and survive.

Irrelevant but since I crafted a double crit obliterate pallisade chest with 4 pieces striker and death grip gloves, i just can't stop using it , the build is all red with 30% AOK , it's been my go to for farming open world activities and It's so much fun

such a strange idea with this mask. i don't even know how to use this mask. hey, you got a cool build. i have to try.

genuine question as i'm a newer player, i see a lot of people use the orbit and say its for the talent but then never pull it out. Do talents work by just having it in your inventory? I thought to take advantage of a talent i always had to have that given weapon in my hand.

To be honest: my first thought was that this build would underperform and lack DPS in DUA legendary. I couldn't have been more wrong... Gonna try it in Capitol Building and Manning Zoo as well.

Would still work okay but you'd then be missing catharis and/or improv piece mod slot. The striker chest is really good for high difficulty content as you get up to 200 stacks easily. Also just fyi, its generally better to have ceska chest piece with a AR striker build as you then dont need chc on any of the striker gear

@@Saltiire So as a red striker you’re not keeping 200 stacks (in legendary). Blue striker might make the difference though, which is part of the appeal. Thanks for Ceska tip

@@trickyBasterd Yes generally a striker dps build (for leg or heroic count ect) will have 2-3 blue cores. With this build in video its mostly tank so if you were to incorporate a high end chest (gs or ceska) you'll miss out on either catharis or improv piece.

@@trickyBasterd Nice. Its a really good build so far. I have all the pieces with improv gloves and it feels great. You wont be invincible but close enough with good dps when the catharis and striker dmg talents proc.

You could just farm floor 10 summit with just a Scorpio shotgun and then go back to lobby after killing the boss. Wash, rinse, repeat

@@realmr57 oh nice i never thought of that lol i literally never use the summit tbh. Ill try that with my glass cannon skill build. Just let my skills hit them while i stay safe enough away.

Then a non elite sneaks up behind you and 3 shots you.

Truly impressive. when ur alone. How about running that exact build with a bunch of randos with various levels.

Protection from elites should never have been in the game imo. It’s classic cheese lol!! Good build but I don’t use protection as it spoils the challenge of the game!!

​@@PatrickWolfChannel I'm afraid you misunderstood me: I didn't mean directives during the legendary, of course. On the other hand, how many players, really, run the legendary solo??! Mainly you, build creators, by demonstration and (maybe) very few others!!! Personally, I regularly play solo with four directives, as do the great majority of players and all my builds are based on just that i.e. the ability to be able to cope with four directives or even five at times. This build, unfortunately, does not offer that possibility.

great how you edited the video to show you not getting killed. Finding Protection from Elite mods are impossible. Those pieces seem to go to the higher ranked players cuz i can't get them for the life of me.
