The Disturbing Case of Brady Oestrike

Ойын-сауық

well. A similar story: A neighbor in the neighborhood had a deer stuck in his fence for the entire night and heard it screaming cuz it was stuck, and chose to do nothing. My sister the following morning found the deer in the fence and I don't know how the conversation went but the neighbor pretty much confessed he had heard it screaming the entire night and didn't do anything about it. So now we had this deer that had struggled the entire night and gotten wounded from trying to break free that it had to be put down. If the neighbor would have cared to do something earlier the deer wouldn't have injured itself so badly. If I remember correctly my sister seemed kinda shaken up by how little the neighbor seemed to care and that really gave me a sinking feeling this neighbor is not right in the head. Maybe he even took joy in knowing an animal was suffering mere 10 meters outside his house and watched it suffer.

@alprazolam1mgs Alright, I'll admit I'm a paranoid fucker but couldn't at least one of them just called Five-0 and be like "Um, I've been hearing a lot of screaming, like blood cruddingly screams and I don't usually hear this in my peaceful neighborhood." I mean shit, I come from a rough environment and even I will find that odd if I moved to somewhere peaceful. It's like we as a species either gotten too lazy for self-preservation or we really did morphed into a race of psychopathic demons.

And also if a murderer is killing someone or hurting someone people don't like to get involved because they think they will be next. Grow up. For the longest time, every time I walked a trail in the woods or went fishing, it was always in the back of my mind that Charlie’s head had not been found yet. This is really the only video I’ve seen that put the whole story together. If only someone had spoken up sooner, pressed charges against this creep, reported the screaming, searched his home sooner...good grief, so many people failed to save Brooke and baby Audi. Especially Charlie. How on earth could anyone pimp out their baby’s pregnant mother? Ultimately though, regardless of the bad choices made by multiple parties in this tragic story, no one deserved what that monster did.

I've tried getting a restraining order and typical government, nobody did a thing when I had recordings of a felon with access to firearms threatening my life. On the other hand, I've had multiple friends get charged and convicted on domestic violence when in at least one situation I know for a fact the female was lying because I was at the residence at the time of the alleged assault. I gave the police a statement and everything, friend was still arrested, jailed, charged and convicted on something that never happened all because now we have to believe women even when they're lying. My gut tells me a female making allegations of such extreme behavior in today's climate would lead to him being put in jail simply from her statement. I've never known someone accused of domestic violence who wasn't at least arrested and jailed even if they ultimately beat the charge. Just my experience, not saying a handful of counties in 1 state speak for an entire country of different detectives, police departments and courts.

Under Rican struction she was 18 and 8 months pregnant. Based on what we know about the situation, we can figure that Charles groomed her during an extremely fragile time for her mentally, almost certainly beginning when she was UNDERAGE. Normally I’d agree an 18 year old should be responsible for their actions-but there are extenuating circumstances here. It wasn’t her choice to be groomed, it was the choice of the 25 year old fucking someone barely out of high school. She was being emotionally, mentally, and sexually abused and manipulated by someone with an immense amount of power over her due to the age gap and different developmental stages between the two. Blaming her creates exactly the right environment that leads to minors who have been preyed on not coming forward about it.

bystander effect. it's a thing, look it up. stop bitching and educate yourself. it's amazing how many true crime enthusiasts don't take the time to educate themselves on basic psychology. it goes hand in hand people. abnormal, forensic, social psychology are just a few branches of psych everyone should start to learn about when consuming true crime content. it has nothing to do with "being a good person" and everything to do with basic human behaviour. so many things could be at play: recognizing noises they heard were screams only AFTER learning the context. were these screams loud and clear? or distant and muffled? did it sound human, or more like an animal? (I hear coyotes where i live, they usually sound different from what most people would assume) does this person have a "glass half full" outlook on life, preventing their mind from immediately wandering to worse case scenario at every little sound? all these little variables contribute to one's behaviour. don't act like you're above everyone else and will immediately act perfectly when you're faced with a situation like this.
