One extra: Mort Around 2008, Disney animators approached author Terry Pratchett to adapt his novel Mort into an animated film. At first, Pratchett accepted the deal. It was seriously considered for a few months. It was cancelled because they could not reach an agreement on the film rights, Disney wanted the film rights to the entire series that Mort is a part of and Pratchett only wanted to give them the rights for Mort. It got to the point where Pratchett was yelling at Disney's lawyers in a meeting (Apparently he was the only person who ever did that).
