This is terrible financial advice. So use a credit card as an emergency fund? Using this logic can get you in a lot of trouble. Say you're laid off. Now you're living off your cc. But how are you supposed to pay that back? In the meantime you're racking up debt and being charged interest. A smart plan would be to have an emergency fund to use.
@Kunyazaforever

I agree using the credit card for emergencies is a no no. One can dig a hole that they won't be able to get out from. Besides, no one says you have to leave your emergency fund sitting in a low interest savings account. Try a high yield savings account or various other options. The key to "stacking" is diversification. Create multiple income streams and have your money work for you, then you won't have to worry about those emergencies when they do occur. The average millionaire has 6-7 income streams. I think people can learn plenty from that mentality. Passive and residual income are the path to financial freedom and enjoying an early retirement.
