The Desert, Egypt's Indomitable Strength | FULL DOCUMENTARY

Travelling through the land of the Pharaohs, around 450 BC, Herodotus was struck by the contrast between the lush banks of the great river and the aridity of the surrounding desert.
These inhospitable lands cover 96% of the country, and only 1% of the population lives there. The desert is also the gateway to many foreign invaders and the domain of nomads.
Documentary: Trajectoires d'Égypte - episode 4: le désert.
Directed by: Romain Fleury

It's great that modern science has stopped giving all artifacts greek & other euro names. Kudos to the scientist that even named the desert sauras after his wife ❤

Because if you take it from its place where it's been laying for millions years then you wouldn't get the impact of the nature of the archeological find
