i only recently discovered your channel, but you've quickly become one of my favorites! your playthroughs and guides are always so informative, i really appreciate your style of teaching/explaining how to play the game at a higher level. my current goal is to get >5k trips on all of the maps (i only have 2 done so far lol), so i am very excited to see this guide!! keep up the great work, dude!

I'm having this problem too, you use a lot of jargon that I don't understand. An example is when you talk about traffic light orientation, I really have no idea what you mean and you don't show an example so it's pretty confusing.

Can you make a video of these tips that show before and after comparison, or _show_ what does it mean or look like / what should you do in the game for each tip. I think my English is pretty good but somehow I can't understand what you mean when you explain the stuff. Right now my runs always ends because traffic gets too slow. I always have time and resources to build a better solution but I don't know how and just wait until I die : I love your videos btw! I like listening to you talk during the game :>

Biggest thing as a beginner is learning that you don't have to connect every house to every destination just because they're the same color lol

How are wiggled roads more efficient than straight ones? I get cutting off corners, but those zigzags seem like theyd use MORE roads, not less.

If you're talking about the 1:00 roads, you're right those are definitely NOT efficient lol - that was a clip from a challenge run where straight roads cost double. Squiggle roads do have some use though, but rarely enough to take note of. The only good use for squiggle roads is to extend a road (in the case of a short runway before a motorway/merge; cars need to be going full speed to merge properly), OR you want to block both lines off for future planning. :)

How are all your colours clumped together that never happens for me haha

Could you do a Mini Motorways for Dummies so that us normal plebians who use this game recreationally could get something out of it? :p And possibly climb above 1500 score average?

Is 949 on Manila good? That's what I'm at?

OMG Manila! I thought it was just me! I'm top 5% or better on all maps but FUCKING MANILA only top 10%, so frustrating.

Just started playing mini motorways, tried beating a friend's score and ended up in the %1. Here to solidify my talent 😂

I have mostly lost interest in this game. Getting into the top 1% on each new map isn’t that hard but they make it so you can never get passed a certain point before it all blows up. Every house is connected optimally and every store has ample supply of customers but it still blows up. You used to be able to keep going with every store screaming but still functioning. Not as much fun anymore. Why pay $5 a month or whatever just to rent this game from Apple Arcade? Not worth it.

Agreed, but I have it through Steam, so no monthly charge. Expert mode just came out, so maybe you can pick it up on the next sale for cheap :)
