If Rueck goes to Oregon, do some of the Ducks like VanSlooten and Basham come back to Eugene? They would immediately become one of the top teams in the country. They were already going to be Top 10 for next season. But if they added more solid players like VanSlooten, and maybe pick up a solid guard to add depth, they'd give any team in the country a run for their money. I'd love to see this because Rueck really got a raw deal when ORST couldn't land in a power conference.

I could see Raegan Beers back to her home state Colorado teamed up with Vonleh. Or at Iowa next to Stuelke.

Not bad; people are Hating on her to hit LSU, but that's as Good a Choice as Your Top 2, and: UCLA w/ Betts. UCONN w/ Ice Brady & Paige. STANFORD if Kiki stays, or: "Dark horses" that Include: DUKE w/ Kara Lawson, an excellent Coach, Former TENN Legend that could use a Post. OHIO ST w/ Cote McMahon: IOWA ST w/ Brown, Ryan, & Audi Crooks One of the 2 USC's but: w/ a Top Recruiting Class joining JU JU, and The NCAA Champs being loaded, + a Top Incoming HS Post, those could be lesser Viable options; in the End one of those could be the Top Pick; But to Your Point, Colorado may be the simple close to home selection.

When the position at Va. Tech opened, Duffy moved from Marquette to VTech. They lost Amoore, so they could use some scorers: G and others. But, it's not the easiest school scholastically.

I agree, I see Coach Rueck's getting the Oregon Ducks job...or another power-conference coaching jobing and having the nucleus of his Oregon State team-which he recruited and prepare to making that outstanding Elite 8 run...losing only to the NCAAW champion, South Carolina -joining him wherever he lands. Moreover, I believe we will have our answer on where Coach Rueck will land after the WNBA draft but definitely before the expiration of the NCAAW basketall 45-day portal window closes.

Was very shocked by this, Oregon state was a very great team and was really getting better too

C'mon Back 2 Sports guy. You know I'm a UCLA fan. Bringing up my worst nightmare(the Oregon State - UCLA game in Corvallis) was like sticking a knife in me and twisting it around. Well, I'm willing to forgive and forget if we can acquire Timea Gardiner in the transfer portal. Here's hoping Beers doesn't go to LSU. There's so much negativity surrounding that program that I don't think she'll go there. Iowa would be a good choice for her, but I think she might go to Texas. Finally, I'm not so big on von Oelhoffen. She had the game of her life against UCLA, but generally speaking she's inconsistent, hot or cold. Some of her teammates in the portal are also excellent players if you can get them. Rueck will stay put for now, I think.

If UCLA would have made final four you could look back on that game with less hurt but seemed to be a sign of things to come! How the hell did UCLA not make the final 4. I am still asking my self that! If I was a UCLA fan my hope would be Rueck stays put in 2024-25 and then comes to UCLA if they flame out again in 2025. And i really like Close and she seems really nice and supportive of players but man it never seems to work out - especially with all that talent.

@@back2sports988 Close has fatal flaws. After UCLA exited the tournament, she told everyone that she told her players to pass the ball to Betts. She told us that after we all watched her players do the exact opposite. She under-performed with the talent she had.

@@back2sports988 Okay. Let me respond to your points. I agree about UCLA not making the final four. You win that argument. UCLA definitely should have beaten LSU. That one's going to sting for a long time. Against Iowa, Betts would have had a field day against Stuelke, just like Cardoso did. Stuelke's good, but doesn't do well against players with a big height advantage over her. I also agree with your point about Rueck coming to UCLA if they flame out again in 2025. Now let's talk about Cori Close. She IS really nice and supportive of her players, another point I'll concede to you. On that note, I want to give you a couple of things to ponder. First, none(zero) of her players have entered the transfer portal. In this day and age of over 1,100 players in the portal, that should be a sign of players being happy with their coach and believing the program is on the right track. Nobody is abandoning ship. Second, I would submit that last year was the first year since she became the head coach of UCLA that she had the talent to go to the final four, but not the experience. Her best players were mostly freshmen. This year, her best players(other than Charisma Osborne) were all sophomores(Betts, Rice, Jaquez, and Londyn Jones). Angela Dugalic was a transfer from Oregon. Finally, people want to come to UCLA to play for Cori Close, as is evidenced by another great recruiting class coming in. So, she does a lot of things right. ... The lack of getting the ball in to Betts versus LSU, and launching all of those 3 pointers was uncharacteristic of that team, and I guess in the end you can hold Cori Close accountable for that. I believe that most Bruin fans, myself included, are willing to give Close another chance, so we'll see what happens.

Beers is too kind and gentle of a person to ever play for Mulkey.

Caitlyn hold up on WNBA. Transfer to USC ,yes the real one on the east coast founded 50 years prior to the imposter. Continue your education and get monster NIL and a chip. Beers massive Nil as well at THE USC. Gamecocks gonna win it in 2025 regardless. However , imagine the added insane excitement if Carolina pulled this off. Viewership would be like the Superbowl being played twice a week. It's a dream, I'd love ❤️ to see happen. Would be unprecedented in all of sport's history. The TV money 💰 would more than compensate everyone. These girls in Garnet and Black. Yes Paige come along as well. We've got 💰 a bag for you as well. We could have a different team for every quarter. GO GAMECOCKS.

A video is coming on this Calvin - will be called the final piece! Beers is the perfect piece for everyone. Even SC - those greedy SOB want her! How much front court depth can they have! But LSU wow - Beers, Smith, Morrow, Johnson, Williams- not bad But for UConn the final piece - Beers, Strong, Griffen, Shade/Fudd, & PG - off bench El Alfy, Ice, KK, Morgan C - would be very fun line up and dare I say injury proof. No will not say that! Been told that Paige has already friended Beers on X. (Smart Girl) trying to make sure he gets that title!

SC lost Cardosa to the wNBA draft. There's a need for a Center. Adhel Tac seems to be the replacement, but she is still dealing with injuries.

The Tac's knee injury should be fully rehab by start of practice. two lower limb injuries are a concern but they are not related. It is really good that she is already at SC and training staff can keep an eye on her.

However, the Center position is so important, I'm sure Coach Stanley is checking who's in the portal--and potentially Beers could be that person--if she's willing to share court time (personally, not a bad thing--in terms of wear & tear--longevity for your career).

You may be Right: She could team up w/ Betts @ UCLA, and IOWA ST has better pieces than IOWA; Duke, TEXAS, & Ohio St may be in the mix, but don't blink, because the Champs (USC East) may say you can replace CARSOSO, or LSU could put in a strong case w. her DEL ROSARIO, Morrow, Fla Jae & the rest.

Iowa is making a pull for her.

Instagram activity makes it seem like Beers is headed to UConn. But I hope not. I prefer Vanslooton.

Sorry I am Kim Mulkey when it comes to social medical - i have my daughter update me. SO OLD. but for me Beers would be the final piece for UConn - she would fit perfect with them. Breers, Strong, Griffen, Shade, and PB and then on bench fudd, KK, Brady, Morgan, El Aly , Patterson. Man it would be sick.

Looking at it objectively, I'm one of those who think Beers could end up at UConn. Geno Auriemma has built an excellent culture and has prepared many players for the WNBA. The departure of Aaliyah Edwards leaves an opening for a "big" to come in, especially since Jana El Alfy will be a question mark after missing a full season due to injury.

Don't forget a healthy Smith, and Del Rosario and Last Tear Poa. Incoming freshman Jada Richards is the number one player coming out of Louisiana. Of course, they have her rated low because she committed to LSU, I think, 2 years ago.

For women's basketball, I only pay attention to the teams that have the players I like to watch. Because I watch a lot of different sports, I only have time to follow the women who are really interesting players to me. I never followed UCONN before a unicorn like Paige showed up, and unfortunately, I don't see them getting another one like her for a while. At first I was bothered by all this conference realignment, but I've now come to accept that it has nothing to do with me. My viewing habits won't change. Hope all these young women land on teams that are good fits for them. They owe Oregon State nothing.

I don't even like UConn but if Sarah Strong is as good as advertised- I believe she could be as good or even better than Bueckers. She's great at scoring, rebounding, passing vision and she's 6'2. UConn should have their unicorn when Paige leaves after next year.

As much as people Love 2 Hate, LSU is as good a pick as U CONN, UCLA, Both USC's, Texas, and '"dark horses" like IOWA ST, who have better pieces than IOWA, or a Duke or Ohio St. OSU & Kentucky, even w/ Amoore coming in, may be thin on Talent. And It wouldn't surprise me if Dawn saying you can replace CARDOSO is enough 2 beat out GENO's pitch of filling in for EDWARDS & the returning Injured players, plus PAIGE U CONN looks loaded if all goes well, 2 be a Title contender with or w/ o Beers, but they look like they're "one of the ones" In the Running to sign her
