As you mentioned, Lucifer's massive arrogance is part of what makes his character arc so amazing. Lucifer being his own downfall is perfect.

I mean, trusting a guy known as the “Father of Lies” probably wasn’t the best idea…

I guess there’s always someone better translates to comics as well… I hate the idea of beings like Lucifer, The living tribunal, The Presence, and TOAA losing though. They can tell good stories, like the Spider-Man, one more day, infinity gauntlet, and pretty much most of Lucifer stories without having those dudes get beat.

It is not surprising that Lucy manipulates Elaine, tbh he doesn't even love her. Dude, so arrogant he threat Elaine don't get on his bad side, knowing she can literally kill him after becoming God.

I like to think that Michael was always a bit stronger than Lucifer, but Lucifer always got that dawg in him. Tbh, I remember they fought in one of the final arcs, the one with Fenrir the wolf but can't remember who won, I only remember Michael dropped dead at the end 😂 but maybe Michael let him win so he could carry on or something? It's been too many years since I read the original Lucifer volumes

Lucifer never traveled into the overvoid either. The void shown in Lucifer is called the Garbhodaka void or as Lucifer literally says in the comic, “cosmically speaking, the ground floor”. You should discuss this with MonitorMJ or the comic curator here on YT because he can provide you A LOT of information about it.

So basically Lucifer defeated the entire pantheon of the tarot entities.
