@@XMetalChefX This also seems to be a VERY common background to their fans. I am NO fan of country music, and was listening to Tool on KZread when it added them into the playlist. I was instantly blown away by it, as I NEVER would have given them a listen. I have a theory that someone at KZread is a HUGE fan and is manipulating the recommended videos, and in this case, I am glad they did and fully support them.

Just saw them in Detroit last night. I don't even listen to this kind of music and don't know any of their songs. I wasnt even really excited to go. Turned out to be the best concert I've ever been to. I was blown away by their performance and will be seeing them every chance I get.

The best thing about this band is they sound better live! Thats pure talent!

The “second” singer is sort of like a banjo. They both have to hold back or they’d over power the rest of the band. He has a very pure voice and we all know that a banjo’s tone can over shadow other instruments. These guys are just great musicians and singers.

I’ve seen them in concert at Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa. They’re great. However the lead singer’s voice fades away after just a few songs. He’s definitely strained his voice too many times.

One of the things I love about them most, is how much fun they have with each other, and it shows.

Those harmonies in "recap", bloody marvellous!!

Reading the comments. I see so many folks who say basically "Not my usual genre of music" Or "I had no idea about The Dead South, but now ...". Oh they are awesome & on several of my playlists. I would challenge each one of you, I challenge everyone to Get Out Of Your Usual comfort zone music & explore. Just start poking buttons & give a listen, you can stop stuff you really don't like, I'd suggest at least before tuning in something else, scroll through the song first. Expand your horizons & have FUN !

Ever since I came across this band, all I listen to, funny, because I am from where these guys come from, Saskatchewan, have to say, best bluegrass band I ever heard, I am a 60 year old guy, heard alot of bluegrass, but these guys, not only sing bluegrass, it excells from the heart, extremely unique in bluegrass, way to go guys, keep making fantastic music 💙 ❤️

Dead south is a version of Jimmy hendrix the way they play them strings. So awsome. Can't get enough of them. So glad I stumble on to them.

This isn't anything like the music I usually listen to, but I absolutely love it! They are just as great live or in the studio. That is rare.

Just been working in my mates workshop listening to The Dead South for 2 days solid. Brilliant musicians and every song a winner. They came to Norwich, England last year and I've been hooked ever since. Awesome band

Love me some Dead South. Watching them is like watching a musical track meet. 1,2,3,.....GO!

So different than any other band , very entertaining, great sound, vocals are xlnt, videos are great, what more can be done to separate these guys from the every day hum drum group... I really like them, great job guys. No drums, or much of what is thought to be required to be a musical band. damn you guys put together one ass kickin entertainment venue.

OMG they are so good !!!. When I first found them on You Tube I just thought they were mucking about but no they are awesome !!!!.

They're all great. I love the bass. But that banjo is FIRE.

Great band, great music! Just saw them in Frankfurt last saturday and -alas - wished I had seen them five years ago at a more intimate event. In a club that size either I am close up to the stage and have my ears and body blown off by PA or I have a somewhat decent differentiated sound but see the guys in smartphone size.

+Sylvester. You're damn right there sir. I have something of a "moth to a flame" sort of attraction to the "unhealthy" stuff of any kind. (especially when they are female, they're often more deadly than any illicit substance) You just gotta love these guys music, I only discovered them less than a week ago and my 2 best mates and myself were hunting for a gig anywhere on the east side of the Atlantic. Then, serendipity, they're coming to the U.K. in the next few months. So there's us three old boys chuffed as kids at Christmas. Ciao dude, catch you at a gig one day maybe........Ja

The visually brilliant thing about this(and every other live performance) is the tightness of the band but also how much fun they have.. Danny especially! ... I predict AS REALLY GOOD AS YOU ARE .. HERE! .. Success will just be out of grasp always now as punishment for lack of loyalty to a band member/friend ... Bring back Danny ... Hes so loyal to the band he resigned so as not to bring 'shame' to the band... I think accepting his resignation was the biggest shame of the band!! Very Disappointed!! ..,. I dont see how you can ever be the same again!
