Actually he was nude from the bottom had spoke about how swampy it was confessing to murdering her while intoxicated. When he sobered up he wanted a lawyer not realizing that he confessed. Definitely his pants underwear socks and shoes got buried with her. He was disoriented and my guess would be he was hitting the bottle burying her. The shovel is a mystery as you have to have one to dig obviously. So where did that go as it appeared they found him after discovering his vehicle without a person. I recall the Police were told about the vehicle in that location appearing to be abandoned.

This is so sad. She became an exotic dancer, left her family for a man she met in a strip club, left her own children to go live with this man and his kids an hour away from her own, and then this man she gave up everyone for ends up murdering her. Terrible end. Her daughter seems so sweet. I’m glad she helped bring the family closure, although the justice system did fail with this one. Btw: I’m in no way indicating Tammy deserved this. I’m hopeful another lady will hear her story and make better decisions if they end up in a similar situation. Remember Tammy.

The justice system failed Tammy & her loved ones from the start. They had a murderer in custody who was released after he admitted to killing Tammy. In his home they found bullet holes & blood spatter and he was allowed to walk free. Then after multiple years of searching for him they finally find him in Mexico. And he's offered a plea deal? All that evidence and 17 years of searching at the tax payers expense they offer a plea deal of a lesser charge of manslaughter if he tells them where Tammy's remain are & he agrees. Yet they still cannot locate her remains & the plea deal is still honored. WTF is wrong with our judicial system is a HUGE understatement in this case & so many more. Science & technology may produce many effective advancements as time passes, but until our judicial system gets a complete overhaul all we can look forward to is more of the same. A system that seemingly operates in favor of criminals as the priority & of victims as nothing more than an after thought.

This entire story is heartbreaking and a travesty of justice. The murderer went to his sister where he confessed to doing something horrible and she gave him money to start a new life, but she didn't call the police. He confessed to his half brother who took him to a truck stop and dropped him off but didn't call the police. He left his two sons behind who went for holiday visit with their mother and they kept quiet for 11 days before speaking up when they found out she was taking them back to him. The mother did the right thing by taking them to the police and I can only imagine what these children witnessed and the threats they received. I hope they received counseling. Then the plea deal that never should have happened. I admire the tenacity of the victim's daughter and the marshalls. The remaining law and legal system let that entire family down.

What a tragedy, could've had this guy locked up and found Tammy when he confessed!!! If you ever wanna donate to a cause Texas Equisearch or any of their branches are a great choice!

I've kept track of this case over the years because of America's Most Wanted and it was incredible to hear from the daughter and details of Greer's life on rhe run. But damn, the lack of justice after all these years is incredibly disappointing.

How the heck he confesses to murdering her and get released. What a beautiful “justice system”
