Hello, everyone, and welcome to the first video in a new series The Darkest Internet Rabbit Holes Iceberg explained Vol 1. This iceberg was too big for a traditional video, so I decided to create a whole series around it. As the topic is so interesting and has 100s of entries.
This iceberg was created by Nora Kingsley with some edits and additional entries by me.

Yes. The Mandela Effect is ridiculous. Not only is the issue old (competing memories of dispute), it is self-perpetuating... One begins to create confusion. This whole phenomenon seems like a cognitive virus to me. I have a psych background and have often wondered if sin/evil VS righteousness/doing good are contagious? Do they spread? We know nothing...next to nothing...about the brain in 2023.

The Mandela Effect thing makes me so frustrated. Some people will literally make up a whole story about traveling between dimensions before they admit that they just misremembered something. @@edorasmarauder5761 It was basically a found footage story, in where a dude recalls seeing a creepy kids show on a channel that only was around for a year. Long story short the antagonist and show runner "mr.bear" kidnapped a bunch of children and abused them for his shitty program and eventually burned them all alive on tape. It was super disturbing but written in a way that made it sound super believable. There was a sequel which was eventually continued and then discontinued by a german youtuber that had a friend of the old protagonist investigate the case and get kidnapped by himself after he found out that he knew mr.bear from his childhood (the man behind him)

I actually remember when the creepy clown trend started. I was living in Salem, OR at the time. It was summer 2015. The weird thing about it is that it happened the opposite of how you'd expect. Rather than being "innocent" at first and growing more hostile as time went on, my first hearing of it was actual attacks, and the further the trend went on, the less serious it seemed to get. It started with actual sociopaths attacking people, and ended with @$$holes just scaring people.

Top content! Great researching.
I remember a ghost adventure episode about the black-eyed demons. There was a Native American family being tormented, so the crew came to help them when they called. They ended up recording an oscillating noise, and when they told the mother, she started freaking out, crying, and praying, and they had no idea why until she told them that is was apparently a sign of those demons, and said she didn't think this could happen to her family. This part was very heartbreaking, because you could tell she didn't know how to protect her family :( (ps-I understand not everyone believes in ghosts, I just ask you to be respectful, please ❤)
Glad to see another iceberg video

Creepypastas may not have been the greatest, but they'll always hold a special place in my heart, since they were my first exposure to internet horror.
