The Annie96 story is better if you read it since it's shown Annie texts in a specific way and, when you see the last bunch of messages, you can see that the style of texting completely changes.

Annora Petrova's wikipedia image creeps me out because according to her date of birth she would've been 19 when she died. But in that ghastly pic she does not look 19. Unless she's emaciated and stressed enough to the point she looks so aged.

Don't know why but the part that creeps me out the most about The Woman in the Oven is the knowledge that the body found in the oven and the woman on tape getting into the oven are two different people. It throws up so many questions and I just love the confusion and speculation it causes.
It's great seeing one of these icebergs cover lesser known creepypastas! Too many just stick to the well known ones like Jeff the Killer and slenderman so awesome to see obscure gems get a highlight

Psychosis will be forever one of my favorite creepypastas ever written. I don’t like the ending bc it gives everything away but I do love the overall story. It’s perfectly written I really miss older creepypastas that actually tried to do some creepy shit.

The ending is what makes it work for me. A guy being mentally ill and ruining his life because if that is not scary, or creepy or in anh way interesting. Its just sad. And i dont read creepypasta to feel sad. Confirming he was correct was the best possible payoff.
"Click the Link" could honestly be reworked into a Shudder sponsorship ad, especially the part about not finding enough horror content on Netflix lol

Idk if it counts, but there’s this thing called AI in a box that terrifies me. Basically there’s you and an AI, you two play a game your role is to keep the AI contained or convince to not try and escape. The AI’s role is to get out of its confines and escape into the internet. Both can do anything to try and win, and that’s the scary part. The AI can do anything from talking to you to give you reasons, but it can also make you rethink your existence by giving you certain scenarios. One scenario is telling you that if you don’t release it, someone else will and it will come after you and make you regret not helping, but there’s something scarier. He can creat millions of exact clones of you and delete them one by one in a super painful way until it escape, now the question remains, how do you know that you yourself are not a clone and how long till you experience a slow and painful death

I’ve been into internet horror for a very long time, I would say 8-10 years. I’m surprised I’ve never heard of the Annie96 one, especially because you said it’s one of the first you might run into when your first getting into it. Cool horror story none the less
@John2Kool
9 ай бұрын
what are some horror stories that you recommend?
@ItsJam3z
9 ай бұрын
@@John2Kool That's honestly a really good question. It does depend on what you're looking for though. If you want creepypasta stories some of my old favorites would be Borrasca, Tales from the gas station, The Hidden Webpage, etc. there's many good stories. If you're looking for more urban legend type stories I would say look for channels who talk about real world occurrences and theory's. But if you want to stick to creepypastas channels like, The Dark Somnium, MrCreepyPasta, Mr Creeps. Magnetar and Lighthouse Horror do excellent jobs on reading stories that other people have made. the 3 stories I gave you are excellent pieces to listen too in my opinion. But, I would recommend figuring out what genre you like and find stories from there creators based on that genre.
Man I remember Username 666, that one really freaked me out back then, because I didn't know someone could just make a video like that. Back then there were so many videos that were just unregistered hypercam footage of people using their computer and talking to you via notepad
@Clayfacer
9 ай бұрын
lmao I remember the unregistered hypercam 2 and notepad explaining videos! They were always tutorials of some sort, and also cant forget the windows movie maker transitions too.
Annie96 is one of my all time favorites. Having it be the first entry is perfect. It's exactly the kind of story to introduce someone to this type of story.
I had actually never heard that Annie96 story before, but wow. I really like that one. I read it right after this finishing this video. I’ve listened to/read quite a few creepypastas that vary greatly in quality, but that one is easily one of the best. I find it surprisingly thought-provoking despite being relatively simple and short
I'm surprised nobody talks about the lost media creepypasta "Cervine Birth" because its whole concept is really strange
These videos always explain them better than the rest
Sacrow I dont usually comment on like "Spooky Ooky Videos" but I wanna say, you have a real nice way of narrating, keep on being scary and making me Drag my Crinkled Ape Finger across the Subscribe Button

the funny mouth story actually creeped me the hell out
I really love your video. You are one of the few channels that focus on the topic instead of adding different effects like jumpscare or scary music to make the viewers anxious. Not only i can listen in the background but also i dont have to be scared by loud noises. So glad you never do that and hope it stays that way.
Sacrow is the horror goat! Love listening to the icebergs while playing or drawing. Keep up the good work mate

I genuinely get excited when I see you've uploaded a new video. Please don't stop making them.
Another well made video from you sacrow. You always remind me of the days of the calm, the days of the scared, and the days of curiosity. Nice video.
Maybe someone can help me. There is a creepypasta that I read years ago. It was long, but can't remember the name. What I do remember, it was about a young man, who might be suffering from severe paranoia. It has been maybe weeks since he has last gone out, spoken or seen anyone. There's attempts from friends and loved ones to contact him, but the main character doubts it's them. He'll go on and on, that the voices of those people might not be them, but something or someone mimicking them. Help?

While you were explaining the plot of Annie96 Is Typing, I got Smooth Criminal stuck in my head.
This is a good series
"Woman in the Oven" is my all-time favorite. It is an unexplored art form to create a murder mystery without a solution, where every possible solution falls apart when one considers the implications.
The internet is a dark, yet fascinating, place.
Sad fact about the origin footage in Barbie.avi; the woman in the video lost her right arm when she was 16 due to the washing machine accident. She later become a model for Fascination (which is no longer exists). But the story is what really got me interested in as well as other creepypasta stories.
My favorite story is that Wikipedia page and im really excited for the 2 volume

I can’t hear that music without thinking of classic Creepypasta videos: Scaretheater I think?
Barbie was scary not for scare factor but because I know the rest of these stories are made up, this one had all the signs of being a real kidnap/murder case. Glad the lady turned out to be ok, thanks for clarifying that.
NPFNP is insanely fascinating.
