I just can’t believe that this league is doing everything they can to destroy any of the hype that seems to be picking up viewership. Besides the jealousy of certain players in the WNBA, the media is manifesting a hatred of one player on the part of some angry and bitter “veterans” of the league. They should all be embarrassed and this venom will lead to the downward spiral of women’s basketball again. Trying to destroy a “cash cow” will end up being a pyrrhic victory.

I never heard of any of these WNBA "Stars," until the started bad mouthing CC. Maybe that's the point.

Only one team can win a championship each year! That being said, if you listen to her, the other players on 200 plus teams are never able to ascend to greatest, really? Alot of great players never won championships in college! So Shaq wasn't one of the greatest college basketball players because he didn't win the big one at LSU?

What everybody overlooks is that she plays a game that is fun to watch. Race has nothing to do with it, it only matters to folks who lack a game on her level. Many of the WNBA players would rather the league fail if they can't be the center of attention with their boring game. It is easier to pad rebound stats if you are just rebounding your own missed layups.

WNBA leadership and the Media does not want a rookie white woman become the face of the WNBA. This is the harsh reality. I'm glad AB has shown friendship to CC and AB has won me over also. They are a Dynamic Duo and unfortunately the media gives the most time to the people who spew racist ideas . I've been saying the same thing since Reece was bragging to Caitlin about her championship ring that her team won.

Someone should ask Brianna Stewart if she thinks she would have become a National Champion if she played for Nebraska instead of UConn. UCone is always loaded with talent and that is why they consistently win the National Title.
