Why would they? It would be considered gambling and if the money stays circulated in Steam funds they will make even more money this way. Money on Steam isn’t considered “money” it’s considered “funds” and is a microtransaction which is a legal loophole to have case gambling.

@@leonardobarros7117 Yeah, it was just a random thought because I couldn't imagine how this could be defended and some other stuff like talking to phishing scammers. I never believed that was true, mainly because of a lack of evidence and because that thought was silly to begin with.

General Snus is referring to a brand of snus, which are tobacco pouches (nicotine pouches but tobacco) which is very common in Sweden (not just in sweden but the guy was swedish). It's also the best snus.

Due to the guy being Swedish, it adds up. If you google it, i assume you get a picture of this round, probably brown, box. They can be bought loose, and in portions. When it's loose, its just powder, and when it's portions, it's just small bags filled with the powder (the tobacco).

Valve took the issue to their own hands and banned them. The reality was that they weren't the ones pumping the price, someone else was. And the people who bought the item, scammed themselves. Basically 4 dudes got banned for the wrong reasons, BUT some of them were able to get their accounts back as Valve misunderstood the situation.Valve needs to get better at their jobs.

@@sinu0us not a scam just plain stupid decisions buying a random worthless item off the market. It could be mistaken as a scam due to the only sellers being friends of the dev or the dev himself and they all of sudden got loads of money due to it being pumped.
