I think one of the most disturbing things in Bully that no one talks about is in the mission where you're defending Edna while she's on a date with the chemistry teacher, she drugged him and pulled him into a hotel, implying she probably r*ped him... To tell you the truth. Edna should be be not only fired but put away into the asylum as she literally smokes, spits and sneezes in the food she's serving the students. I mean if you even go into the backroom of the kitchen. You'll find out that she literally has bags of dog food to apparently serve to the kids including the younger ones like Sheldon, Pedro, Melody, Karen and Gloria. Especially kids their age should be eating food that is actually healthy for them and help them grow up. Like I can assure you that even school cafeterias should always have a health inspector to make sure they aren't serving the students food that they should and shouldn't eat. Oh yeah, and SMOKING in a kitchen with an ACTIVE OVEN that is turned on which can be EXTREMELY dangerous. Because if there was gas and fumes coming out of the oven. If she isn't careful. That oven could literally blow up if she were to accidentally drop her cigarette.

I'd say so. Not only does it capture the films plot and tone down to a T, as well as add in a good prequel storyline letting you see more of the gangs that the film skipped...It's just fun. You pull off complex movesets, each of the 9 Warriors has their own set of moves, which is doubled with rage mode. It has side activities, but they are rather different. There's also a good theft and police system in place. No open world though, it is level by level but that is it's strength, it allows the game to focus on the gangs it needs to at that specific point and tailor their map to suit them. Both Bully and The Warriors are good beat em ups, but each takes a different tone. While there is humour in The Warriors, it is much like the film overall.

Bully has always been my fav rockstar game. It just has that charm to it that gta doesnt. And like SWEGTA said, their removal of M rated aspects just helped the game as the developers really did make up for it 4x over. The game is mad underrated

I can’t quite explain why, but I think even now Bully has an underlying creepy vibe to it. The gothic buildings, the fabric civilians, the paranoid ambience. I love this game, but when in the past when I’ve stayed up late playing it, as I get more tired, the game makes me really paranoid for some reason.

In Showdown at the Plant, the thing that checks if Jimmy fell into the sludge is still active in the code. If you no clip into the metal platform in the middle of the fight area, you will automatically fail the mission. Jimmy and Gary still have the stomp action in their fighting style although it is disabled. However this action was given to Russell's boss fighting style (i keep repeating myself lol).

I keep wishing that we could get a new BULLY, but I feel like this game would never make it to stores with how everyone is taking a no bullying stance and suddenly words do hurt you. Don get me wrong, bullying is bad but this game also allows the player to stand up for themselves and others. This game was awesome. The world felt so alive. The people having their own conversations, the laughter if you wore a werewolf mask, the guys walking up to you to ask what’s up, the encouraging achievements (I went over the rainbow for the dialogue mainly), god damn this game was more relatable then most of the other rockstar games. I don’t know about you, but I’ve never robbed a bank, stole a car, lived in the dying days of the Wild West, banger a hooker, raced cars, or investigated crimes...but I have been to school, I have been awkward around girls, I have wanted to pass my classes, I have had trouble with said classes in both real life and the game, I have wanted to knock someone’s teeth in for being a prick (fuck The preppy Harringtons) and I have had some memorable teachers. What else can I say? Bully was like breaking bad. A genius idea that was much like throwing a piece of crumpled up paper into the garbage can while not looking.

Rather than GTA, I think the Yakuza series is a far more apt comparison to what Bully does. * A small but densely packed open world. * Lots of minigames and activities to take part in. * Groups of agressive cliques/gangs that pursue you while you're out and about. * Main means of fighting is melee combat. * No killing. The biggest difference between Bully and Yakuza is that while story-wise neither Jimmy nor Kiryu are the kind of people to go beat random people up, the player _can_ make Jimmy do that, while Kiryu is fully incapable of doing so, true to his character.

Also Gary and Shibusawa are kinda similar in some aspects. Like, they appear in the beginning and you definetely know they're going to be a problem later but most of the time, Jimmy and Kiryu deal with other threads while Gary and Shibusawa sit in the dark preparing to take everything out of nowhere. Also both characters use a similar fighting style to the main character when you fight them in the end (Gary has a fighting style similar to Jimmy instead of the Bullies fighting style/Shibusawa uses his own version of rush, beast and brawler/legend style). That shows how not only Kiryu and Jimmy have grown during the game but both Antagonists as well.

In 10:10 they replaced it with falling of the bike when you fall multiple time jimmy will say usless piece of junk

Why haven't I found your channel sooner. Bully was one of my favorite games, and one of the few I actually cared about doing EVERYTHING in back in the day. Love what I've seen so far

They Still included the mental asylum which is creepy af has like pictures of dead bodies and weird codings if u go there after mission u can explore entirely and also the death of that girl the ghost is there and the writing in girls bathroom so we still saw a dark side to it but they really need to announce the sequel

They could have left the drowning and sinking animations and show the mission failed message, and play a little cutscene showing Jimmy waking up from a nightmare. Or something, idk, they could have made it work somehow some other way.

If they didn't think it would fly with the ratings bureau then why did they add so many questionable things in the first place? It must've taken them a huge amount of time to add all of these things, only to have it all removed/unused. To me it seems like they initially intended the game to be more mature, but then they realized that they could make more sales if the game was targeted towards a slightly younger demographic.

SWEGTA because they were originally going down a path like gta, when they decided to switch it up and make a lighter game since gta already exists. they would've made money either way, it's rockstar, gta v is rated M but is played by everyone. they just decided to make a game with a different tone, therefore they removed a lot, and these were clearly just accidentally left in. I know, right? they always cut so much from their games, it's kinda weird, but I love them for taking something out if it doesn't work. most companies would just try and force it in regardless

Jacqueline Gutierrez bully and Jak and Daxter (the entire trilogy) are games that I can't help but pay at least 1 time a year.

Hearing and seeing that acid death seen puts chills down my back knowing what kind of game this is. This is scary indeed

I've never been to this channel before. But that intro sold it for me. Subbed.

Personally although I found Bully's T rating decision to making it a truly unique experience that I wouldn't change for the world, I'd love to see an M rated Bully for the sequel. I still think there should be *SOME* restrictions, so that its still more of a Bully game and not a GTA wannabe. Like I'd like access to a switchblade(but no guns), however I don't think you should be able to kill anyone with it. I think it would be a nice update to be able to do a simple non fatal stab or intimidate others, but if a teacher catches you with it(and perhaps a couple other specific weapons) it's an automatic expulsion/game over and you have to restart at the last checkpoint, while also having a few moments where you could legitimately die and maybe even be left in the hospital. Have certain areas controlled by actual gangs, that will shoot you without hesitation if you try to attack or disrespect them, but helping them in minor ways gives you access to certain things like more money, materials, or favors. And for the final confrontation to be against a school shooter and you have to utilize a lot of stealth to take down Gary 2.0 or whoever or whatever the new main antagonist.
