It rarely happens, in my opinion, that a cover equals the original rendition. This one is a clear and massive exception; The Damn Truth is blasting that song to astronomical heights; Lee-La Baum's rendition reaches a level that few ever managed since Janis Joplin.

I think it's always difficult to tell unless you see it live, U2's live version of Love Is Blindness is incredible. By the sound of it a lot of the arrangement of this version come from U2's live version.

I completely agree with you, she killed it on this song. I've looped it for about an hour now and I still can't get enough of this version. Soooo much better than the original, and I never thought I would say that about U2. (no disrespect to Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry, still love you boys. kisses xoxo)

​@@darkpr1est No it is not "much better" than the original. It's great but it's a totally different vibe which simply makes it different. This version doesn't capture the despair and sadness of U2's version, nor is it as hauntingly beautiful as U2's version. This one expressive a more frantic anger and rage which is awesome but by saying it's "much better"..... You're trying way too hard to be cool and diss U2. That much is obvious.

Heard this song on a commercial while I was doing dishes and stopped everything I was doing to listen. I've listen to this on repeat for an hour tonight. Amazing!
