I was a bears fan my whole life but I saw dak moved to the 4th rd over a dui on his birthday I was excited for the bears. I loved dak in college. When they didn't take him I became a cowboys fan I got so mad.

Brandon Cooks is a breath of fresh air for an offense that was stale when it mattered the most last year. His positive attitude and willingness to work to improve the skills of promising young receivers will create the depth needed have quality receivers on the field when the usual injuries occur during the season.

This defense will be so much better on top of the last few years success. They got good young depth across the board. The addition of Gilmore will also help the young secondary and the overall defense much the same way as cooks on offense

I think it's ridiculous to think of teams going to go undefeated however I think Dallas will be better than they were last year maybe the record won't indicate that but the beagles or the Philadelphia Eagles will be much less than they were last year as everyone on that team will be exposed for the frauds that they have always been

I've been a Cowboys fan all my life and love the winning tradition that dates back to the Tom Landry era, and the glory years of Jimmy Johnson and the Triplets. Love everything about the Cowboys, but let's be honest: It's been almost 28 years since we last saw Dallas in the NFC championship and the Super Bowl. It's ok to hype and be excited to a degree but let's keep a cool head and see what this promising 2023 will bring to Big D. Hope for brighter days and just cheer these Boys all the way to February.

Lamb with Dak all year would’ve went for 1600 yards and 12 TDs that’s not a stretch at ALL

Been a hardcore fan since 1993. Basically All my life after being born in 87. I no longer care about the regular season, Stats, or individual player accolades, including how many pro bowlers we have. Obviously we need good health, and enough wins to make it into the dance. I've seen us do it ALL during the regular season. I've seen individual players do everything they can in single games and across the season. I simply care about January football and getting to see these guys, will mcclay, and Jerry hoisting that beautiful Lombardi.

Facts man. Born in 90 and my Pops was such a diehard fan that I had no choice. I believe we have the speed and receivers on O and adding Gilmore on D is going to be huge for Diggs being able to float around more. Pollards health is going to be one of the main factors of our season. Once we lost him against SF we couldn’t move the ball anymore. We have a TOUGH schedule but I’m all in. Have to end this damn drought.

The cowboys are not going to win the SB until it's their time ,same for any other teams. To claim its our year every year is over the top. I definitely think our defense will be #1 or at least in top 3 in the league. But only thing that I feel that could hurt us is if Gilmore had too ever miss games will Jordan Lewis be the same before bad injury last season. Because if he can't then we will be in same boat as last season because we don't have another corner we need depth and that bothers me I hope Jerry and the boys are smart and get another corner in Free Agency. But other than that I think Dallas will be better this year because now there will be balance and smarter play calling. Moore was good OC but having dak throw 40 times a game is absurd. And he didn't disguise our offense too much alot of teams knew what we was going too do all the time . For last 3 seasons yeah we had good offense but that's all it was because our defense is so good it covered a lot of sloppy play from offense look how many times we would stall in a drive. Now when Dallas was balanced that's when they was dominate and stats don't lie. When dak is only throwing 25-30 times a game that's also when he was always at his best and thats why I got faith in our offense this year. Because Mike McCarthy is going too be a great play caller and make things so much easier this year for dak and the offense and they will be able too play at the level that our defense plays than Dallas will be a force too be wrecken with. Let's go Dallas.

There isn’t a team in football that’s unbeatable. Been a Cowboy fan since my birth in 1990 and I will say this is the closest we’ve been to the doomsday defense since it was on the field. DQ will have the defense playing lights out. If McCarthy can manage the clock better I think we’ll be very hard to handle. We’ll see.

Kellen Moore and Dak wanted to lite the scoreboard up, that idea isn't the best way to win, whenever Dak was pass happy not controlibg time of possession he kept his defense on the field not giving them a rest, when the cowboys were up by 10 or more points they still chose to pass the ball instead of running the ball and milking the clock and keeping the defence rested, who cares about Dak scoring 35 points then loosing by 1 point, Aikman got three rings, they never lit the scoreboard up they played COMPLEMENTARY FOOTBALL.

I see it differently… they would continually hand it to Zeke and he would run up the middle and get one or two yards… so, running the ball more was not the answer. My girlfriend would even predict this on almost every new possession…”Zeke up the middle for a yard!” And she was right 80-90% of the time… Made me so mad!

Unbeatable is a retarded statement. I do however believe that the roster has improved. I also believe Kellen Moore era had hit its ceiling and we need to try something new. That being said, this new offensive coaching staff has much to prove. To be realistic, this experiment could go either way.

You will miss Kellen Moore. He was the best coach on that staff. This coming from an Eagles fan. You will also miss Elliott. excellent 3rd down back whole can also block. You say he was washed. He might have lost a step but he was still a good piece to have on offense.

@@jameshaynes1331 When Moore started with the Cowboys he played back up quarterback. He had exactly zero to put down on a resume for a offensive coordinator coaching job. McCarthy has far more experience and far more proven success. These are facts. Either way, this is simple, time will tell. For the record, I never even mentioned Elliott. Who I liked but not for the outrageous amount the Jones's had negotiated that contract for. I don't even see one of the 31 teams left trying to pay even close to that either, so speaks for itself.

Zeke arguably is still just as good as anyone in that QB room with the exception of Pollard. One more point of interest McCarthy's resum'e as a coach is not that impressive. Had a QB in Greenbay by the name of Aaron Rodgers and what did he accomplish. One superbowl superbowl. He was forced out of Greenbay by Rodgers because of his antiquated offensive schemes. So what do you think he is going to do with Dak and your offense. Absolutly nothing. As I said your best coach on your squad now is with the Chargers. You will see this year how much Moore meant to that offense the very first game of the year.

Y’all should go watch the 2014 packers to see how McCarthy like to run his offense. You can choose whatever year he called plays, but personally I like 14 and 11

OMG 😳 Dallas will not get far into the playoffs because of Jerry Jones. Jerry Jones always builds a very good team on paper but will always find a way to stop the Boyz from winning in the playoffs. Really what Jerry Jones needs to do is take a page from Craft's play book and hire a real GM to manage the Cowboys.

Well if you must know the first year we had ceedee Gallup and Cooper Dak played 5-6 games and was on pace for 6k yards of course the defense was the worst in cowboys history Dak got hurt didn't play the rest of the year and in 2021 outside of 5 games we didn't have all 3 healthy all year one-two was always hurt

They offensive was ranked 10th last year with what they had and micheal Gallup was coming off a major injury.. U add a 1000, yard receiver. They will be better not too mention they won't have to score they much with the defensive they will have ..

@Yung Swazy he's a bum. CeeDee had as many tds this year than he has in his career. Dude has one season over 1000 yards. Take that away and he is around 400 yards a season. Drops routine passes. I will admit, he makes circus catches. Usually when it doesn't matter. He wouldn't be the best receiver on a community college team

Dat was a solid captain for the cowboys. I wish he could have won a championship or two. He's had a serious injury in the past so I'm not sure how much that still effects him .I wish him well but I'm not so sure he can take the team to the promise land.

When has gallup been ever reliable???? Smh same old cowboys the fact they won't et Hopkins he free agent is why we come up short and other teams who make moves get to the super bowl. We rather have gallup over DeAndre Hopkins. You can't make this up. If you gotta move money trade somebody you do whatt you have to do to add Hopkins with lamb and cooks. It's a no Brainer but we always making up excuses why we don't make the move necessary to ensure we have the best chance to win. Hopkins gives us a much better chance than gallup

The head coach has been and still is the reason Dallas has been out coach in the playoffs.

As an Eagles fan you don't think that Dak deserve most of the blame for choking every year in the playoffs. Have you been watching Daks performances in playoff situations. He's hot garbage. Even against competition outside of the division he doesn't play well. Wake up. Dan ain't the one.

Still think Gallop is the true #1 in that room. Glad getting Cooks will open things up for him and Ceedee

It is not about Cook. It is about Dak and I just dont think he is that guy. However the defense might be good enough to overcome Dak's deficiencies anyways. Trent Dilfer won one. Imagine if Romo had this defense.

As long as Jones is the owner, they will never return to Super Bowl. Been a fan since early 50’s. Season ticket holder when Johnson left after two SB wins. As Madden said then, “has anyone ever heard of a coach who just won 2 SB’s is terminated? That’s some ego by the owner.”

Jerry don't throw INTs, or fumble the ball that cost games , miss tackles.drop passes, blow coverages or blow clock management at the end of games. thats on the players and the coaches. Jerry pays them they don't earn that money by winning cause they are a bunch of underachiving losers.

Even if you don't consider Dak upper 5 tier--and I don't--he's still a very good quarterback who last year, had an injury to his thumb; had no super tight end; only one good receiver; and one good running back. All this due to poor decision making from the owner and front office, who years ago, should not have paid Zeke, a running back, all that money, and then allowed Cooper to leave, and not replace him with an equally gifted receiver, and getting nothing for him. Now, they're about to make another bonehead mistake allowing McCarthy to turn the team into a run first team when that exact formula is the main reason the Cowboys haven't been to an NFC championship game in over 20 years. What worked in the 90s isn't going to work in 2023. Just dumb. Of course, Dak will get the blame, as he usually does.

As a fan of the Cowboys from '69 until '97 or '98 It is clearly apparent Jerry Jones wasn't the one who orchestrated the rise/dominance of the Cowboys of the early to mid 90s. It is/was Jimmy Johnson and his staff. Dallas hasn't won an NFC Championship game in 28 years. The longest stretch without an NFC Championship in the 63 history of the Cowboys. Dallas will be fortunate to go 6-11.

Defense should be improved with the recent additions, Parsons will be unstoppable, offense should be top 5 with the addition of Cooks, we have depth at most positions, this is the best roster we have had in quite some time, 14-3 with a trip to the Superbowl.

The headlines tell me all I need to know. HYPE, HYPE, pre-season HYPE! Each year, the same old thing. The Cowboys always are about ready to win the Super Bowl, get your tickets early! Each year they wind up not even winning a championship game because they choke. They've got the talent, the money, and the super players, but they don't have the drive, the work ethic, the self discipline. They have way too much ego on that team.
