No Jones hasn’t messed up. It’s the number 1 franchise in sports. Mission accomplished. Dominating the coverage and hasn’t won the Super Bowl since the 90s. If he was serious about that trophy cabinet he would have let Jimmy Johnson carry on until he fell off like Belicheck even if he couldn’t stand him. That team would have won more Aikman said and he was right and I’m not a cowboys fan neither.

John Elway was one of the greatest QB's of all time. Period. But for the first decade plus, he had Dan Reeves as his head coach and GM. Dan Marino, never had that supporting cast after the first 2 years of his career. Having 7 or 8 pro bowlers on the team is all well and good, but you need the rest of the supporting cast. Jerry gathers players, Bill B built "Teams" around his QB.

Jerry may have been a HoF Owner in his 35 year tenure; however, he would have EASILY been fired as an NFL GM at least 6 times in that same period of time. This is based on his performance, objective evidence of his performance.

I remember the good old days when Clint Murchison was the owner of the Cowboys. He allowed Tom Landry to run and make decisions for the team

Maddog 12-13 best QB in football and his name! Mahomes, Rogers, Stroud after one season, Love after one season, Cousins you can argue. Lamar(He is better runner), Alllen who has done nothing, Herbert who has done nothing, these guys have no credibility. Ryan Clark said Shadeur will be thd next Cowboys QB not sure what they are seeing! When did Dak ask for 60 million? I missed presser and now everyone all of sudden Jerry knows what he doing! So let get 36 the : seasons and I believe the only you have not won in the playoffs you cannot(one dimensional) and you cannot stop the run! See if you cannot then QB has to be perfect for you to win he cannot have off game, but other teams that are the right way their QB turns ball over or dies not have a great they still, because they have other ways to win

Was it the defense that threw an INT in the first quarter on the 2nd drive and who threw the pick 6 to Savage? Dak didn't play well vs the Rams. He scored on the first possession in the first and did practically squat the rest of it. The Rams were dead set on stopping Zeke and make Dak beat them and he couldn't. If you're playing, and see that,you know all u gotta do is continue to squat in your zone,because the crybaby is about to be rewarded... they were already squatting on Ferguson and his seams... where was any other offensive production coming from??? Jerry had a conversation with his head coach when their season ran aground. I heard that when Jerry not very nicely asked him how much more talent the man required to win him a championship that the coach took it personally. By that i mean he found his voice and told jerry squarely he had the team he needed to do the job. Im hearing Dak backed his head coach and that it was known right then and there that should the team finish with anything less than a championship that they should both be free to test free agency. It made its way through the rank and file as a all or nothing gentlemens agreement and that forces were already positioned to jettison the core of the team at that time. Didnt hear it myself. But the amount of people it requires to run a stadium that supports an NFL team is in the hundreds. From groundskeepers to electricians, drivers, security, maintenance and food and beverage.. not all charged conversations take place in the privacy of an office. When powerful men are mad, they want you to know it. JJ and the other JJ were notorious for testing stadium accoustics. Sometimes drunk at 3a. This is decades late!!! Jones was the problem way back when he butted heads with Johnson. Owners do the owning, coaches do the coaching!

All we need is one good year for fans to protest and not go to games or purchase any gear. That will wake them up really fast

Jerry jones need to step down and the cowboys need a new owner that will bring better players and experience coaching staff that know how to win championships and make better picks in the draft
