They’ve consistently underperformed against good to great teams the entire Dak era. They always beat down on inferior teams and the hype train takes off. But then they play mediocre at best against playoff teams. I’m not sure why anybody ever takes them seriously as a contender considering they’ve never shown it against postseason teams in the regular season and certainly not in the postseason. Dolphin fan here- last year my wife and I went to Levi stadium and witnessed Brock Purdy’s first game .. we both laughed and thought Phins would destroy them with him on the field .. one year later I’m still puzzled by Brock’s greatness 🤣

As a 49er fan last year when Brock didn’t lose a game I honestly thought that it was all Kyle Shanahans system and Brock was just along for the ride. After watching Brock this year I’m now convinced Brock is Joe Montana 2.0
