Oh, the kitten is breathtakingly adorable! Such a beautiful breed. He seems to have adapted quite well. Of course fresh prawns pretty much guarantee he's going to love his new home.

I don’t think powder needs to be used on cats to stop grease or oil that is naturally secreted. Surely that would negatively impact their skin and isn’t that why cats have a rough tongue to clean themselves. Someone please advise if I’m wrong. They are gorgeous cats.

Soooo cute! Orange cats have an interesting back story. They're colouring is not a good one for a hunting animal, quite bright in low light and high contrast with green and brown (right Oliver!) so it was a reccesive colour. One of the earliest places that cats agreed to live with people was ancient Eygpt and their primary deity was associated with the sun so orange cats became highly desirable because of their sunny colour. Egyptian cat breeders increased their numbers mightly both for households and, sadly, kitty mummies for offerings. However, this meant we archaeologists could confirm a much higher than natural number of orange kitties! More happily, they also are on many wall painting and papyri

What a gorgeous natured cat he is just gorgeous!!

I had a Beautiful Sweet Norwegian Forest cat. He was my Big Big Kitty Boy or Puffy Boy. His coloring was Russian Blue and he was so sweet. I would always say that to look at him you'd think his voice would come out sounding like Barry White, but it was really Mike Tison Ha!! I loved him so much. He's been gone over 10 years now.

The new kitten is so adorable! Norwegian Forest & Maine Coons are my favorite types of cats. And the orange ones tend to be so friendly & loving. I was amazed how happy, relaxed & content he looked during the car ride. He might end up with the nickname Prawn. 😸

Such an adventure to get a cat! I have friends who have trekked for a particular dog breed, but never a cat. You are fortunate that this kitten was already acclimated to being handled and carried like a baby (most can't stand that). I noticed you had a piddle pad - very wise! I've never had a cat that stayed dry in the car - always a lovely litterbox smell! Here's a giggle: there are 2 orange boy cats in our neighborhood. One is named Bob, so we call the other one Not Bob.

Oh, he is adorable, to find a golden Norwegian cat is rare. I knew he was going to be placid when someone pick him up from the belly in your video and his legs, front and back dangled and there was no resistance that is a sign of an easy-going chilled animal pet. You are very fortunate, he is a lap and cuddly cat. My daughter had one his name was Mojo and had a great disposition very lovable. I think comet would be cute for him since you got him in the Christmas season it would be appropriate. That was your first name you gave him in the car. Great video of the animals you have. They are so cute and beautiful each one unique and lovely. Enjoy the relationship, the nurturing and the loving.

My mother rescued one of these breeds about 9 years ago being unaware that he wasn't your normal kitten and would grow up to be almost as big as a mountain cat. However she is in love with him as he is very smart and affectionate. Luckily as he jumps and pounces around the house his feline grace make it that he almost never breaks any of her objects.

I didn't realize how many other pets you had but if I had the space and resources that you do I would probably have that many as well. As it is I have two cats who are crazy and quirky and I love every bit of them.

Beautiful kitten. My sister has a Norwegian Forrest cat he is like the tabby colours of your kittens family. I'm amazed at how relaxed he and your other cats are with him. It took me over a month to introduce a kitten to my other cat at the time they were a year apart in age and still have disagreements! Recently I've adopted a tortoisesshell cat due to her owner passing away thats been an interesting time.... So 3 cat house hold with 4 outdoor visiting cats! I feel like I'm running a cattery 😂. Looking forward to seeing him develop into a huge powder puff!
