You can somewhat restore the cut machinma mode with a mod but it’s very glitchy

The clip editor works pretty well if you install it properly (it doesn't work with Sandbox+). It works like the GTA5's video editor: you record a bit of a gamplay and then edit it. It's a great thing. Shame it was cut (or more like disabled) and shame it doesn't work in the remaster

Aw man, I would've loved that extra bit of subplot for Shaundi. She's one of my favorite lieutenants and I really prefer her character in SR3 instead. It would've been nice to see her character change fleshed out a bit more and how she got to that point.

The concept art of the city is one of the things I wish carried over into the final game. It made Steelport look much more fleshed out with a bigger and denser map, unique districts, and a bit of lore of the city's history sprinkled into it's landmarks. It also better reflected the idea of the city being completely run by corruption alone - kinda like Gotham in the Rocksteady Batman games. What we got instead is basically a generic version of 1980's NYC with almost none of the flavor that made Stilwater great design-wise.

Gotham city in the Batman Arkham series actually had some life and function built into the games themselves. Even snowy Christmas time version of Gotham city felt like playing as Batman in the holidays.

The syndicate sounds like a big problem in that cut content it was enough they killed gat but destroying everything you built in SR2 would have been a cool thing to see.

The Syndicate would have always been an issue. They had plans to buy Stilwater .

@@ElRosco187 Imagine Saints Row 3 but set in Stilwater during a Syndicate invasion.

The Syndicate blowing up The Church, maybe destroying almost the entire Saints Row District in the process would've been cool! If that and some other serious scenes would've happened, I would feel less about The Syndicate (and the entire 3rd game) as some kind of joke!

They should have left Shaundi’s story in the game we need an explanation how Shaundi went from a fun loving pot smoking down to earth person to a female Gat

Now this would've been excellent! The story definitely sounds more edgy and gritty like SR2. I was hoping for a boss battle between the DeWynter sisters before getting to Loren but that might've been too predictable.

Wow some of these would’ve been dope especially the one with Johnny being captured well they technically went with it in The 4th one

I also remember reading somewhere that Gat was supposed to reappear closer to the end of the game flying the plane that you were on. Seems like they definitely didn't want to kill Gat in alot of these drafts. Wonder what made them go with it ultimately?

Very cool video, I've heard about a lot of the cut features for Saints Row the Third in the passed but it's nice to have a lot of the main ones in a single video Also the possible story changes you spoke about at the end of the video while I don't believe there real since I haven't heard anything substantial backing these up, they would be cool and the second one about Oleg and Josh while I don't particularly like it, it's possible that Oleg's and Josh's friendship at the beginning of Saints Row IV could be a nod to this scraped idea.

In the thumbnail it looks nice if that's how steelport was gonna look like I wish they went with that interesting

I believe the 5 actors they meant as in gangs since it’s only 3 gangs The Morningstar led by the DyWynter sisters and Phillipe Loren (hope I spelled it correctly),The Deckers being led by Matt Miller and The Luchadores being led by Eddie “Killbane” Prior and funny enough there was cut gangs at some point so I’m guessing the cut gangs were supposed to make it but ultimately it was scrapped

I would’ve understand that there are more gangs in Steelport and besides the syndicate and the saints themselves maybe there could’ve been more gangs than we realized. They could’ve used the gang system and made it better. Maybe have rival gangs to side with the saints or side with the syndicate.

I swear that thumbnail of sr3, the city looks amazing

And we couldnt buy apartments and fix them up and go inside powder and buy weapons and fully explore the strongholds.

Emoji's as censors? I hope i can just have blur if i have my character naked. I dont want to run around in gane with emoji's covering my character

It's an option, mate. Mosaic/blur is the default censor, at least I hope it is.

In the reboot you can choose what your censor will be or turn it off & have full on nudity.

Dang they should have remastered saints row the third with cut content involved. Remaster bring Fuzz and other activities and the ability to reply missions too. I feel like there was potential for the remaster but Volition was too obsessed with the Saints Row Repood.

What I wonder is if the third engine had limits that made them cut content couldn't they have kept the engine from 2 and just updated it?

I have no clue! Maybe it was planned to have a longer dev but got cut down... or perhaps console limitations hit harder with the new engine

The complete destruction of Stillwater would be a reasonable way of why the saints are in steelport now. It'll also gives the people playing the game another reason to kill killbane and end the Syndicate once and for all. Kill killbane that sounds awfully weird to say.
