Robert smith is without a doubt one of the best front men ever , he never changes. So honest and charismatic. This is as good as the cure have ever performed and he is the glue that has held it together all this time . The ovation he got at the end is fully deserved. 10/10 👏

I was never really a big fan of The cure but I must say for a band that's been playing as long as they have, they still sound great especially Robert Smith who's pushing 65. Two thumbs up!! 👍👍

The Cure is really amazing playing alive, Robert's voice still perfect. The Cure and Depeche Mode still doing excellent live concerts.

They were the soundtrack of my youth and I didnt even notice it at the time. Anytime I hear their songs Im transported back to the 80s and 90s. Time is cruel. But life is amazing.

It doesn´t matter how old Robert gets... his voice, amazingly remains the same... Thanks for sharing

I saw them in 1984 when I was 16 years old. Loved them then and still a big fan. Back then my ticket was probably only about 12 bucks and I was standing right in front of the stage like you were here. Only a couple thousand fans there when I saw them. Cure fan forever, they are beautiful souls . Great video!

Hollywood Palladium, October 1984. $12. Is correct. 3rd person from the barrier, after the second song, watched part of the show , standing on the staircase to the balcony. Watched the rest of the show from the balcony, my friend and I leaned over and dismantled some of the red light bulbs that flanked the balcony rail. After the show, we waited on Sunset for my dad to pick us up. Some weird guys drove by, and shouted at us because they thought we were hookers ( Batcave attire) we threw the light bulbs at their car, they stop mid street, my friend and I ran up El Centro. I'm only sharing with this with you because some people in the comments are all like, "I saw them back in the day, on the Wish tour/ (or) Disenergration tour." I will give you a clove from whatever the time and distance. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Watching this makes me realize the journey all of us went through when we were kids listening to this band. Seeing Robert Smith and The Cure reminds us of the time spent we had in this earth and to look ahead at what's left in our very limited time left on this earth.

The tone, tempo, intonation and feel for every song is constant. Be it recorded or live. Very few bands can accomplish that over a 40+ year run.

Despite having followed their records since my teens, the live experience was nothing short of phenomenal. Every aspect, from the lights to the sound, and the music itself, was executed with perfection.

I missed the 2023 show here in Michigan I'm hoping they tour again here....I'm upset...I really wanted to see Robert and the band....my wife passed away unexpectedly recently and The Cure is really helping me cope with that devastating blow in my life ...all I can do is watch him here to help ease the pain a touch....I've been a fan since day 1....thank you for sharing this magical show!....I'd give anything to have been there!....I'm a lot like Robert quiet but when you open me up I'm silly and fun!....again thank you for sharing this beautiful show with me!

I was lucky enough to see the cure supporting siouxsie and the banshees at Hammersmith Odeon 1978? Robert also played for the banshees that night i remember him saying this is our new single out soon called "jump on somebody else's train" lucky me ,he sounds amazing cracking footage 🇬🇧🍀🇮🇪

I haven’t seen them in years, the last time was when they toured Bloodflowers. That show left such a lasting impression on me. I’ll never forget it. Were fortunate that these bands not only exist but exist in our time.

I see them twice, both times very emotional and powerful. 94 ,and 97.

Ive been listening to these guys since 1987 we are all older and times have definitely changed but thier sound will last forever they are a really great band..

First, I want to express my gratitude to the one who uploaded this concert video. Second, I want to thank Robert Smith for making it so much easier being in this ripe old age

Seriously Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing this!!!! I wish I could hug you with joy. My sister went to this concert and wished I could of been there and with this video I felt like I was there. This video is just amazing!!! Great job. You the best!!

I saw them Thursday, I was blown away. I can't believe they played BURN. Simon Gallup is incredible, they were all incredible. I have never seen a band so in sync. The music was beautiful. And then of course, the beautiful Robert Smith.

This brings a bittersweet tear to my eye. Even though I am not there physically, just listening to this, picturing the moments I had with my friends, and sharing this music with all of these people who are present, we all have something in common in these trying times. Growing up, politics, didn’t even matter as we were navigating the simpler things in life, our teen years, not realizing at the time that someday we may want to return there, but never will again. 🥲

Just got home from seeing them in Seattle, for the 7th time in my life. My favorite band of all time. Robert Smith has been flawless brilliance every time

My Heros have aged so greatly, I still remember 1979... The Cure has followed me through rough times and also some amazing times. Thank you "The Cure"

So true,,it all started with boys don,t cry,then seventeen seconds and then still my fav album ,pornography,probably their darkest album but same as Joy Division,it goes straight to the heart,no bullshit just honesty,dark feelings or not,but we,re now in 2023 and i,m still so proud to be a Cure fan,The Cure still doing what they like,no matter what musicbusiness want,no they keep making music what they like and for their fans!Robert,Simon,Roger ,Perry,Jason,Reeves thank you so much for the fantastic moments&music and without knowing The Cure helped me through the darkest moments in my life,thank you xxx

Thank you so much for uploading this. The Cure are my favourite band in the world. one minute i'm 13 years old and buying pornography on vinyl and the next minute i'm 53! I've made so many friends from all over either from being at Cure gigs or through mutual friends online. Much love to all Cure fans everywhere!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤

@@ChiB2004 I was 13 in 1983 and had just discovered The Cure. With my small allowance saved up for months I got my dad to drive me to a record shop and I had enough to get Faith and Pornography - my dad then also bought seventeen seconds for me. I was planning to use my parents record player, but when we got home it turned out they had bought a recordplayer with integrated cassette player/recorder to me and also headphones - for their own sake they said. I can't listen to those 3 albums today - way too many emotions connected to them. The times were different. Seen them live multiple times between 1985 and 2011. Can't any more.

Suddenly I am transported back to the mid 1980s . . . the same feelings, tears run down my cheek. How is this happening? The brilliance and emotion of Robert is like no other. Thank you for posting.

Simply put, one of the greatest, most impactful bands in the entire history of rock. Robert Smith is a messenger, perhaps without equal, in the genre. These present day live performances capture only partially the profound impact The Cure had on arguably the greatest musical decade, late 70's thru the 80's Britain.

The audio and video quality is superb. Thank you so much for your efforts.

Music was amazing .. this is a legend that still plays and sounds great. And I want to thanks Morgan to hold the phone for nearly 3 hours for us to see the whole show thanks a lot 🙏
