@Casual Player I know, after Ms Chalice losing at a tap dancing contest with the devil, the devil was going to turn her to dust, but cuphead stepped in the way and had a proposition that if he wins in a game, Ms Chalice is free, but if he lost, not only the devil gets to turn Chalice to dust but he can also snatch away both Cuphead and Mugman's souls.

0:58 *Subtitles:* “(Idk man, you threw your number one away)” Vincent, Henchman is _right there._ And the scene of Old Scratch’s deal with Chalice got me like: yes. This is the Devil I’ve wanted from this show since the first episode. Goofy and flamboyant, but absolutely still clever and threatening. I get that his active threat level was pushed to the side a bit so he could still be funny and entertaining with a VA like Luke (who is perfect for him in every way don’t get me wrong), but seeing him nonchalantly remind the audience that he’s still the literal Lord of All Evil was just. So satisfying. He is still the best character and that scene proved it. Also after watching the storyboards/animatic for the dance-off so many times, it’s almost weird watching the fully-animated version and not hearing “Putting On the Ritz” and “Sing, Sing, Sing”. Glorious ending, tho 😈

That dancing scene and dance battle. How does one tap dance with bare feet like the Devil did?

It's definitely different, but I don't know if the VA is still Luke Millington-Drake, albeit with a different voice, or if it's someone else.

I think it’s bc he’s more serious, he sounds exactly the same voice wise but tone wise is where he’s different I’d say - person who obsessively over analyses voices & studies voice actors for fun
