  Both the movie versions of Dr robotnik and bowser do a really good job of being both goofy and hilarious and intimidating at the same time though it’s pretty different mainly due to the performances of Jack black and Jim Carrey with Jim Carrey as Dr Robotnik he does both at the same time specifically in his introduction in the first sonic movie with Jack Black as bowser it more depends on the scene he’s in such as when he’s invading the snow kingdom which yes you want him to be intimidating and even the other characters specifically toad and peach build him up as this ruthless tyrant but when bowser announces his try motive of wanting to marry peace it comes as both a shock to his army and the audience yet it pays off so well and doesn’t really ruin his role as an intimidating villain as he’s back to being sadistic and intimidating when he’s interrogating Luigi about Mario

  They really did write him perfectly, not just his character but the narrative choices too. One of the issues that the comics have is that Shadow, on balance, is more powerful/capable than Sonic, which can leave to awkward situations in the writing rooms when it comes to plot, particularly when Shadow inevitably ends up in their stories. 'What do we do now? Shadow is involved with the scene and he'd just.. solve the problem, realistically." So they tend to default to several tired issues with him: A ) They write him far too egotistical and reckless than he actually is, like with the Zombots, and have him rush into a situation they can basically have him "lose" in, so that Sonic remains the hero (as is right of course!). B ) They tend to power him down or make up a bullshit reason as to why he loses against the Villain/Plot. C ) They have him leave without any defined excuse as to why. All of these decisions ultimately make it deeply unsatisfying whenever the Comics involve Shadow. It's not that he needs to be the Hero, afterall it's about SONIC and he definitely needs to be the main character / hero, flaws and all, it's what makes Sonic interesting, but the writers have sort of written themselves into a corner with Shadow because yes, he would realistically just solve the issue given he's far more experienced/mature than Sonic and pragmatic to boot. Sonic Prime showcases Shadow perfectly without diminishing him. It shows us through their first fight that Shadow is ultimately more skilled and responsible, but it doesn't just HAND the victory to Sonic. They have Shadow win that fight, and then IMMEDIATELY realise he CANNOT actually save the day as the Shards are tuned to Sonic, not Shadow. Perfect writing. It solves the issue of Shadow expertly, as he can no longer just swoop in to save the day and they don't need to power him down or have him make bullshit decisions just to get him out of the story to allow Sonic his rightful place to shine. And it also doesn't take the limelight off Sonic! Shadow gets to beat on a bunch of robots and be the badass he is, thus aiding, mentoring and helping Sonic, and Sonic in turn gets to BE the Hero without diminishing Shadow's role. CHEFS KISS.

  I think a reason Alastor cursed at both Lucifer and Adam (double points for tryin to piss Lucy off) was because he feels genuinely threatened by them. Most people are threatened by Alastor but Lucy and Adam both were rather unbothered by his presence, Lucy is way too powerful to care and Adam is strong and stupid

  Completely agree, i honestly think toy chica is not hot. But oddly enough i would prefer funtime chica over toy chica and i still have no idea why. I also personally liked the sonic voice more because i thought it was funny, but your voice is soothing too.

  I really enjoyed this video I was smiling.ear to ear throughout the whole video (my face hurts now) and I love your art I do want to try implementing some of it into my own art. And I don’t find your voice to be annoying Just sounds like a normal voice. Also crate bot is definitely the hottest fnaf character to ever exist.
