    Commentators really should stop overstating things. 'Aside from some no-reps, this has been flawless'. That literally means: 'He wasn't flawless, but if he did things flawless, he was flawless'.

    Agreed. His first reps in his later sets were clearly no reps. But every time he went up she fucked him over at least once.

    +Hot Shotski The commentator clearly stated on a no rep. But his legs Are straight. That should not have been a No rep. On his last or second to last rep.

    yes i agree it appeared that he did more of a regular push up then a handstand push up. but either way incredible performance

    jupp the judge were giving out reps like it was christmas.... his first set omg... Not a single good rep... judge had no guts to call him on it...

    Matts first set of ring HSPU were mainly no reps, the judge only started calling it correctly when the main judge intervened for the second set

    I don't know but I dislike him in a way. Probably because I'm autistic but I just hate how bad his form is in some events or how he didn't put his barbell right at the last burpees. He's a beast for sure but I wonder how his spine still does what it does. (talking about the heavy deadlift for example)

    yes looking at it it seems like a bad movement and not to functional. way to much stress on the back. Instead why not increase their balance and do handstandpushups w/o a wall

    please, stop saying fraser would have win with another judge, the exercise is called Ring Hand Stand Push Ups, and they bend their core to literally do a ring bench press....

    1:27:44 that's real. I was in ok shape but the everyone at the box was cool and and instructors encouraged us to go at our own pace.

    This event is frustrating. Fitness shouldn’t depend on the judges this much. I’m mostly impressed in how the athletes keep their cool with the variable judging

    What a bullshit idea to have the rings 2 meters above the ground for the men (neck breaker?!)! Also too many reps in a row! Hardly anybody has done one correct HSPU! The men should have done the same workout as the women.

    Ring handstand pushup are ridiculous and is just a flashy movement. Its not fun to watch at all and its a useless movement. I love Crossfit but watching silly movements like this is painful.

    It's all about seeing if the athletes can adapt to a new movement with no preparation and under pressure... Very easy to be good as something you've practiced

    How is it possible Matt fraser reps are good and ben Smith aren't? This is too much in the hands of different judges and personal interpretation of movements that are going to be different depending on the body structure? This event was a joke

    +Jeb Jub exactly. Bridges and Fraser's reps were hardly 'handstand' push-ups! There was practically no handstand. I don't think Fraser could have been more arched if he tried.

    WTF are these scorpion like pushups Frasier is doing? Surely they can't count. Seems like the standard is lock your elbows out, all else doesn't matter.

    standard is touch rings to shoulder and then lock out your elbows and you cannot use your legs to grip and pull yourself up

    So it was a ring pushup with feets flying around. Many of the girls did some nice handstand pushups, but the men was just horrible to watch.

    she is... in his second set of rings... they correct the judge thats why the amount of no reps.. seacrh a hanstand push ups on rings and you´ll see that matt is doing it wrong.

    It blew my mind how many athletes sucked at the RHSPU. I’m no CFG athlete but fuck I can do them better than that.
