The fact that both tickets were dismissed is proof that it was an illegal stop. The coproach could look on his computer to see that your insurance is current. I bet they hate that judge now he's ruled they can't stop people from recording the police within 8ft . Because they would stop any citizens pulled over by the police where they can't record themselves.

When a charge is dismissed, it goes on your driving record without points. Your insurance provider will use that to raise your insurance rates. In order for a charge to not appear on your driving record, you must be found not guilty in trial court. If a judge says, I'm dismissing this charge, you must say to the judge, your honor, I plead not guilty, I'd like the record to read not guilty. The judge will then tell the clerk to let the record read not guilty. And make sure you follow that with, your honor may I get a copy of the final disposition before I leave. The judge will then tell you to step up to the clerk's desk, so you have proof that the record read not guilty. It took me a lifetime to learn this. I hope it has been helpful.

Always go to court if you can, clog the court system with an appeal or ask for a trial if it fits the situation. They don’t have the time for small cases like this so probably they will dismiss it. Everyone charged with any kind of infraction asked for a trial or a court date, the system would collapse. Make them do the work make them bring the cop to the hearing, make the district attorney or prosecutor do their job they will hate it.

I know of a guy who gets arrested for fun then he makes the court spend ALL DAY on his case. Which means they Collect money on ONLY ONE CASE. Meaning the Court collects ONLY a few dollars or No dollars for an ENTIRE DAY of court.

@@kennethpucser774 Maybe. I forced two Pennsylvania state troopers to show up at a hearing at a magistrates office. The charges against me were disorderly conduct and fighting with first responders. The actual charges were contempt of cop because they didn’t like what I said to them. So I forced a hearing and they didn’t even bring up the charges of disorderly or fighting. The magistrate informed them six minutes into the hearing that I was not guilty. All they charge me with add to hearing the fact that they didn’t like what I said, you know whining. Now every opportunity I get, I post comments like this. I name names and the Barracks which they work out of. The icing on the cake is that I have a friend who has a relative that works at that Barracks and believe me they don’t like what I have to say or do. They won’t make eye contact with me in a restaurant we both frequent.

Even if they are, they're cops too. So investigation ... not really their strong suit. Any investigation on cops by cops, you know it's gonna be a minute before anything gets handled

They obviously never got assaulted or framed by a cop. I was assaulted by cops. They told me to go in the house and get dressed. I put my cigarette out, walked in the door, and then shut the door to keep my cat from getting out. Three steps later I was tackled by 3 cops and manhandled while naked. Thrown in the car on a wooden box. I'd already told them I was a disabled senior citizen. They hurt me. No one here will help me cause the cops are all related to each other. Please come to Cartersville GA.

One part of the insurance laws I find interesting is that they are fascist in nature and not many people talk about the links between government and private businesses (like insurance companies).

@@Bewefau In this example (insurance laws) it's infringing on the right to travel, but a great example is the Unaffordable Care Act (ACA), where you're forced to pay for health insurance (corporations) and it's already tied to employment (corporations) :)

It’s from years of copanganda. The public have been brainwashed by law and order, nypd blue, cop movies, etc that portray cops as being cool, moral, strong, action heroes and brave in the face of all the danger they protect all the little helpless citizens from. They give themselves military rank titles (stolen valor imo), wear tactical gear, pack their vests with 4 extra mags, get their arms tatted up with their gang signs and actually convince themselves and each other that they are badass and just like Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg or Bruce Willis.

its crazy that for years now your cops are caught on film, without remorse, violating publics rights, lying, intimidation, harassment, and they think they are in the right. They dont even know basic laws or rights and knowingly willingly violate the publics rights
