Reduce all the yakking. Verbal diatribe doesn't go well with a beautiful beast. I treasure Jaguar. I have just stepped up from the 6-cylinder F-Type to the V8 SVR. Driving it in the hills and mountains of New Zealand. Wow man, wow! Sensational!!!!!!

THE BONKERS JAG! I own a XKR with HRE rims and a stage 3 Spires exhaust and a stock XKRS.....the XKR is much more sporty with the 2 upgrades lol

Interesting review! Totally agree that Jag should produce some rawer, more lightweight editions of their cars as this looks pretty damn good.

The World needs bonkers cars. They make people smile, they are a joy to watch and hear, even as a viewer you feel just a bit naughty just for being mad enough to hit "Play"! Last and certainly not least these kinds of cars give you hope! Sure they make loud raucous noises, but they also make you ponder "What's Next?" giving you a wee bit of hope for the future, if for no other reason than to see what the next mad, strange, head spinning and bonkers car humanity can build!!

Steve Min Well the XK has never been availible with a manual. And such a big, ponderous car would feel pointless with a manual, not to mention the astronomical costs of having to develop one for it...

In the XK Jag had their a 2+2 GT car, they could have made a coupe variant from the XF with different front and rear with enough space for 4.

The XK/XKS is such a beautiful car but 100% overshadowed by the FType now that it's out. I remember losing my mind when the last XK model came out, so so so beautiful, arguably better than the FType. Makes me wonder how good for a deal I could get on an XKS I could get tho

Would you ever buy a jaguar f type again? (For a daily driver of course there is the v6 version wich is a lot more economical than the v8 R).Also there are rumors for a 2 liter version wich would be good for countries like mine (Greece).

You mean the 2.0 version? No it would be awesome the xe has a 2.0 engine it gets good mpg also 0-60 is 7.5 seconds wich is just fine from a 2.0 engine and enough for everyone that doesent want a sports car or a supercar.I just like the jaguar f type looks I don't even care if there is a 1.6 version if I could afford it I would buy it.

KGK that's a bit like me saying a I like the looks of a Huracan they are making one with a 3.0 V6. That would be absolute shit. The looks need to help the car aerodynamically and aesthetically justify the performance figures and aggressive looks.

KGK i could totally see why it sounds like a good idea but I agree all the way with Anon, a 2.0 would surely take away the magic of this car. I think a 6 is borderline for ANY car, though I know some 4 bangers that put a TON of bigger engines to shame, like Honda/Mitsu/subaru engines for example. But jdm rides and Jags are completely different cars for completel and obviously different reasons.

Got to see one in real life, pretty awesome car, I prefer it vs the new SVR.

The moment Sam hears 'Challenge Stradale' :P

This would be one jaguar to keep.
