He sounds great

A slow D-D-D-DU with an emphasis on the fourth down strum (twice through for each chord) sounds really nice too, and is a lot less confusing. Haha. My brain could not keep up with the more complicated pattern. Awesome tutorial though!

i was feeling really confident about it until you started playing and i was like " WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!"

Why does the strumming pattern sound so different once he starts playing with the lyrics? 🤯 Would help to break down the strumming pattern along with lyrics (I'm guessing some downstrums need to be emphasized a lot more than the others)

I was doing so good until he actually started playing he went fast and I was like GoD dAmN😭😭

Love this song, it would have been great to have been shown how to strum faster before including the lyrics. Seems like an entirely different pattern all sped up and a pretty big jump for beginners.

Absolutely... I know you commented this a year ago... and here we are a year later lol suddenly it's a completely different song cause the temp is sped up to the lyrics.

I had the same thoughts. I guess he automatically started to play not 4 times "down", but 2 times. Maybe I'm wrong

I really wanted to now, how to play this song like you did. And I was SO SO sure that the strumming pattern in the song is not the same as in the practice. It needed much time but now I have it! It is D-d-D DU UDUD DU and the third and ninth (both downstrumms) are emphasized and the second one less or only two strings. Right? For a beginner like me your videos are gold! Thanks and keep it up!

pretty potato You can learn that! Just start with one strum per chord and if you can do that really well after a few hours or days, just do two strums, then four and then a pattern❤️
