I have three months in my ukulele so I'm not a master, but there's not a lot of things that can beat playing the ukulele with your friends next to a beach or a lake in the evening or late night next to a fire

It depends, I think that soprano is a lot easier to start on. If you have big hands, get a tenor.

Ahh, yes, it can be a bit strange at first. I would recommend taking really slow - slower than you would think - and just practice strumming DOWN - UP - DOWN - UP - DOWN - UP - DOWN. Keep repeating that slowly and then trying that rhythm with a song and then you’ll start getting the hang of it. Also, try keeping your finger sort of loose, you don’t really need to strum up on it, you can use your hand for that. I hope that helps!
