The thing about Glendale California the city is a rich area I live in south Los Angeles and there’s no way I could afford to live in Glendale maybe if I was single and no kids and gas is $6.49 a gallon

Beware Enid Oklahoma. Crime averages 38 percent above national crime stats. One more comment, she's comparing to cities that are base tourist towns that offer so much more than anything Oklahoma has to offer . She's also comparing costs with more demand which increases price. So her comparisons don't hold. I lived in a Florida city near Orlando which was cheaper to live. Just proves you can find lower cost living anywhere. Tallahassee is the Florida capital and cheaper to live. Don't be fooled by these comparisons. Oklahoma Tulsa and Norman do have comparable crime rates to other larger cities in Florida. Ironic she didn't mention that. Commute to downtown Orlando 25-45 minute average.just as close as anything in Oklahoma. Florida also has a variety of transportation modes. It depends what you're looking for. Health care sucks in Oklahoma, Florida has greater health care resources. Oklahoma road conditions are abysmal in Oklahoma I have been on toll roads pitted with pot holes.Do your research. Price comparison does not reveal what you are getting into. I'm not saying Florida is that much better than Oklahoma, it has its dark side. I'm just saying research your options and dig deep. This type of comparison is very misleading.

I have lived in other states lived in way better neighborhoods and paid 50 percent of the rent they want in this lousy two bit state. I pay 600 for a one bedroom in a drug ridden neighborhood. Landlord lied. Always check the crime stats if you move here, people here wouldn't know the truth if it bit them. What I paid for that dump , I had a two bedroom house with garage in Kansas and in Wyoming I had a two bedroom townhouse. Oklahoma is not worth anything they ask for. Utilities are super high, taxes are just stupid. Run run do not enter do not be stupid. I'll never go back
