Very cool. Having only ever visited Antietam once I can only imagine how horrendous that battle was. Reading about it has been quite interesting. I’m sure this re-enactment was insane!

I was there with the 11th PA Reserve adjunct. It was really well done battle! Best I have been in during Civil War reenacting and I've been doing it for almost ten years now. It was awesome to Skirmish in the night before as well.

The muzzle flashes going up was the only downside, but for safety of those involved it has to be done that way. It was eerily reminiscent

It was awesome to be a part of this. I was there with the 149th pa as part of the mifflin guard. A cool aspect was us falling back through the field and see the balck hats waitng for us to pass to take their turn in th corn.

If you went to watch this battle you couldn't see shit in the fog lol. Imagine being in it and not seeing the guys shooting at ya. I was in there.

I UNFORTUNATELY went to the 150th Reenactment on the 15th. What a joke compared to this! There were trucks parked in the background, powerlines through the battlefield, and no sense of the historical events that occured. I am pissed I didn't know there were TWO reenactments!!

I believe you fell in with us on the 2nd battle on Sunday, I was to the immediate right of you in the rear rank!
