Keiichi's former chief really didn't even try to hide the fact that he made the thread. I mean you even called Keiichi to tell him about it after you kept showing hostility towards him since the wedding.

What a nice guy in this one, the MC has been: when the moment came, he right away take the contraol of the situation and proceeded to defend the girl she loved (I mean: the other MCs did the same thing in other mangas, but this one...well...feels particular). And serves that arrogant ***** of a man right (and I'm pretty sure that that guy wanted to have the MC's "role" for some reason...). Also, when he said "To her I was just a housekeeper", I said "No, it's you the defined yourself like that" and in fact later, she made him understand that he was more than that. Anyway, this proves that even man can be "housekeepers" (and there is nothing wrong with that)...and when I saw the final scene of the video, I thought "Wait, instead of a child, they gave birth to a DOG? That's rather byzarre..."

Nice twist on the usual _CEO sets me up_ trope. And the ending where they have a dog and not a child like most stories was a nice departure from norm too.

He told keiichi to learn his place (which to be fair he kinda did), but by trying to defame nagisa in order to defame keiichi, the section chief disgraced his place, and now atleast keiichi HAS a place. Great story. I just feel like this story is missing a detail or two. Sorry if I'm reading too much into it. It wasn't directly explained why the section chief hates keiichi or was jealous of him before the marriage arrangement. We haven't seen any romantic interaction the section chief tried to make on nagisa, nor was keiichi trying to take interest in her at the beginning anyway so I doubt it was jealousy toward him for wunning nagisa's heart. Keiichi said he isn't getting ahead anywhere in the company nor was looked at for any promotions so I don't think it's jealousy for a promotion that the chief wanted that keiichi got. We don't know if the section chief is lazy or not so I don't know if it's about keiichi working hard making him feel insecure either. Also, nagisa said the marriage meeting was for the sake of her and the company. Idk if she was exaggerating or lying, but that wasn't brought up. Oh well, again sorry for reading too much into it. Great story.

My guess is that the section chief hated Keiichi because, despite him being Keiichi's boss, it was Keiichi that ironically was getting the attention of the company brass, and, by extension, Nagisa, thus that rubbed the section chief the wrong way, as he felt like HE needed a promotion, and that he also felt like Keiichi was his biggest rival, and he also thought that Keiichi was too young, and/or incompetent, to be in that company position. Now as for the romantic advances on Nagisa, well, Nagisa would have been a smart enough woman to have figured out that the section chief had the hots for her and, though it may have been true that most bosses would have tried to bang a woman like her, it could be possible that the section chief was not completely morally corrupt and that had also liked his wife and family, so he did not want to leave them for a predictable and cheap one night stand. Moreover, he could have been old enough where his sex drive was not very much in existence because, well, believe it or not, but men can also have an equivalent to menopause as they get older in their lives.

Honestly it was kind weird at first, and I was about to criticize, but I ended up loving this and it’s fairly organic as romances go. But the fact that normally, I hate it when a thing forces someone into love or marriage I rank stories low for that, but not only is the mc just as crazy but was into it in order to escape, really brought it home for me.
