I just went to "play as a guest" and that helped

This is a year late but for anyone who still has this problem, it's because the 2nd device that you're using (phone/laptop/tablet) is getting logged out by your controller. What you need to do is: connect your controller to your 2nd device via bluetooth by holding the share and PS button on your controller for a few seconds (up until it becomes discoverable to your 2nd device). It should work then.

@@ghxstz1768 hold the share button and PS button on your controller at the same time, you'll be able to connect to it via Bluetooth using whatever device has PS Remote play once the controller's lights start blinking.

I think that you don’t have to sign in again, When you start the ps4 remote program it is like if you sign in once, I think that your pad is not running on your pc and it is running on your ps4 so when you press the ps button you are signing out from your ps4 program automatically. Check ir you have all drivers and your cable is 100% working and sync with your computer

Just make a fake ps4 account sign in with that one on the remote play app then when your on the account screen choose your account and you should be good

i think that you got some solving idea

Just conncect your controller to your pc with a usb cable and that's it

I found a fix!!!! PLUG YOUR CONTROLLER INTO UR LAPTOP NOT THE PS4 ITSELF

Connect that with your Bluetooth before opening app,

bruh same with me i connect to remote play boom the controller cuts off ok np i press the ps button on the controller and then I choose my account and then the connection losses what to do I'm sitting on my chair on youtube for help but absolutely nothing

You can’t be logged in on two different devices at the same time with the same account, you need to make a different account for remote play
