Lmao. A horror movie gets scarier once they add the simple, short phrase "based on a true story". They did that at the end of the horror movie "Veronica". A good thought to have before going to sleep 😁😑

I love the scene in the basement when she holds up the match and you see the hands next to her appear and clap, a person at the theater screamed.

Ikr! I personally LOVE horror movies but it's the jumpscares that always get me! Like Annabelle wasn't creepy at all but there were a few jumpscares and I don't jump or anything but I do have a few heart attacks when that happens haha

Arya Stark I didn't like it because of the things thaat only exist for the plot like the dog and Annabel as well as they try making it better by making one of the characters possessed even though they were fine before as well can't explain how she got out of the house without being killed in the first place

0:33 the moment you realize you're watching a horror movie, the scary one

This aged really well, still the scariest to me 👻 even the trailer is still crazy scary.

I’m never really scared by anything after reading a lot of thrillers/horrors and watching a lot of true crime, but that clap where she was holding the match scared the hell out of me.

I thought this movie was going to be like any other horror movie. But man, it was really really good. Good story line, too! Vera Farmiga was so good, too.

this was actually a very good, scary movie because you felt like it could actually happen to you, and there were a lot of unknown things that was left to the viewers imagination

You can watch videos of them, and no one will come to the conclusion "these all look like people in bear costumes, polar bears are fake". If you google 'ghosts' or 'paranormal' you'll find no credible proof of their existence. You'll find movie clips, memes, bad tv shows, "spiritual" people, and some crazy people talking about what they saw. There's always the copout that technically nobody can know anything, but it's a lil more convenient to live you life not in fear of things like ghosts, the boogey man, demons, big foot, etc

I haven't seen Lilli since The Haunting! Glad to have her back in a horror film. I am so hyped and terrified for this. My heart will not slow. I love it when horror movies use unconventional things like clapping and turn them into something like this. July 19th, come on with it!
