I remember the first time I watched this in theaters I screamed when Bill Wilkins said, “My house!” I practically held on tight to my brother afraid that was gonna happen to me and he just said, “Hey it’s not real, nothings gonna happen you and even if it was they would have to go through me to get to you.”

I’m not gonna tell everything but he did his choice because my brother started figuring out that he was dealing with schizophrenia, something that took our moms life away nearly 8 years ago soo she started dying slowly and that is why my brother did that. He just wanted to not feel the same way she did and just decided to to end it right there. At least he’s with our mom again. All I have left now is my oldest brother and my father.

Horror films that deal with Poltergeist activity have the best jump scares! The beds shaking up and down, along with the dresser moving still jolt me now, as it did when the film came out! This film is highly under appreciated and shouldn’t be getting the hate it gets!

The reason why the conjuring 1 and 2 was scary was because it created a very eerie and terrifying atmosphere let alone the jump scares.this is enough to create tension in the minds of the viewers combined with the historical period element of the 70s.
