there is a neat little trick you can do with rapidfire, you can Q+auto for an extra enhance auto if you time it right

Surprised there is no mention that Rapid Firecannon increases Smolder's Q range.

The way I've been playing him is top with Tear first item, against a lot of melee tops it allows you to spam W on them and get those stacks, E also gives you enough mobility to gain distance if they're running at you, and it also hits him if they're within range, the range Q has allows you to slowly poke them down to kill range, where you can use the Q W E Q combo mentioned, it's been working extremely well for me so far. Even more so since no one knows how to go against him

Important Tip: Dont go Presence of Mind if you are planning on rushing Essence Reaver. You won't be doing much champion trading pre ER and Biscuit will keep ur mana pool. And once you get ur ER you wont ever be missing mana as Q will acutally regen ur mana bar.

Why conq and not pta ur q applies a proc letting u get all three pretty fast plus it makes early game laning a lot stronger than conq will allowing u to stack faster and more efficiently

Fun mfact for mid lane smodlers. If you play against malz the voidlings acctually give you stacks when killed with Q wich make this matchup nearly unplayble for malz :D

yes they mention it in the video I think, if sheen works on his q only on one target that means crit applies as well

I disagree with going conqueror. I'd rather have PTA. Q counts as a attack for PTA and he struggles to get damage off early in trades. This gives him the trade of w auto q auto as a quick trade.Then PTA helps with making his mid game burst much better. What's the idea behind CONQ? Smolder stacks it well enough but is the base ad later in the game and heal really what he wants?

I think fleet is the only option to stay safe and farm... He is a scaler, so you should make runes to help early and ignore late

Since everyone is queueing adc atm I only got one game of smolder in all day but hes easily the most fun adc (Imo) but hes 100% a later game champ his early damage isnt as good as other adcs

Pretty disappointed that you guys wouldn't recommend boosting Smolder's early game by going Comet, Doran's Ring and putting 3 points in W asap. This not only fixes his very weak early game but also gives me much higher wave clear and poke capacity.

Time for new Meta. Let that Ori/Karthus/Hwei u name it, farm in bot, while supp roams more, and goes for Grubbies. And u still have ADC like Smolder on Map. Or give Mid to a Tank or Bruiser and Smolder Top? Lets see what the "Pros" are cooking, and maybe Things will shift a bit.

He's not really designed around attack speed like most other ADCs are. Your auto's should be doing like 400-600 damage late game and Q 1k+. I don't think it's clunky animation it's intentional lag for balance.

so i played smolder ADC and i think it feels terrible. i will test smolder mid AP and jungle now cause the only way i see smolder will be played is like a ziggs "adc" botlane as ap

if that happens they will be nerfing his mid laning, Riot always try and ensure the champs dont go places they dont want. But honestly he seems too weak on his own to be played mid. He really prefers having help

Nilah is an incredibly good adc, shes just not a good blind pick adc nor is she popular. I one trick her and she is incredibly strong in many matchups and has consistently had a good winrate.

Smoulder has 550 AA range which is the same as most ADC's.... not sure why you kept making out as if hes basically a melee champion lol. Hes not and his range is fine.

so he has AoE on a spammable ability with built in wanna be ludens, max hp burn AND an execute all the while infintely stacking? overloaded much? it doesnt matter how small the exec range is or how low the burn dmg is: smolders dmg economy is absolutely busted. whats next does he have an integrated cup holder with built in drink heating? WTF is that champ? first hwei now that? while these may be fun to play they sure as hell are not healthy for the game.

Noooo Skill Capped what have you done. Everybody, be prepared to have a first time Smoulder 0/10 on your teams.

kinda dated ... Koreans go comet mana band so on and put 3lvls into W early to give him early wave clear and poke...

Smolder is in a really bad state for playin botlane. Scaling take ages and every other adc kill him easly in the first 30mins. Played him 2 times, scalin good but still bad. ( Emerald 3 ) Q- Dmg is way to weak early game. W-Dmg way to weak and only good to slow or cs. E-Spell Terrain flying is good, but Dmg is way to weak R-Spell way to slow and hard to hit. His winrate will be below 43% for sure in a long term. Atleast when playin him AD.

Nah, they’ll shove him in Midlane. Most champs these days end up completely different lanes. Like why is Seraphine so prominent in ADC role still? Why is Zyra now being buff to be a jungler? Why is Irelia stuck in Mid role because Top lane is a shit show? 😒😒😒 like the meta has shifted so much champs aren’t the role they originally were assigned

They need to ban new champs from ranked for 1-2 weeks. Sick and tired of watching smolders get wrecked, just screwing over their teammates because they try to rush playing it in ranked.
