For those who didn't know, you can check if Warwick used his W to track you or if its his passive. If its his W the debuff on your screen ticks down but if its his passive it doesn't.

I mean, if you're under half hp his passive tracks you and if you're over it has to be his W, you don't need to check the debuff.

@@Sinzari active W gives Warwick the passive component no matter the hp (move/atk speed) and buff it to 250% of it's value, so it's valuable to know if it's on/off/onCD/offCD.

I just had an 80 minute game as Smolder yesterday. One on our team rage quit. Two on enemy team rage quit. 4v3, and one of them was also Smolder. By the end, each of us executed at around 20% max HP (around 800 stacks)

Rapid fire cannon actually extends the range of your Q, so this build was cooking especially with the lethality slow item

Now we just need the runaans with tiamat and zwag has done all the videos with smolder

That karma + maglinance build is strong af especially with new supp items

So Illaoi R already spawns tentacles that aren't attached to walls so I can't see why they wouldn't be able to adapt that to let her tentacles spawn in lanes without nearby walls since most of the lanes got a lot wider

They could very well have her abilities spawn tentacles Yorick style. After all, a big part of her harassing power was using E in-between two tentacles, but now you can't cause one or even both of them don't reach far enough. It's kinda funny

@@beziik2357 the main issue with spawning Yorick style is his spawn on minion deaths and she has more AOE vs him so she can wipe out the casters with Q for like an instant tentacle. Zyra’s passive seeds would be more balanced

@@RomGomLP the problem is that its a bad movement ability in terms of duration and since it doesnt have a Mini dash before flight its worse then others like corki w schmolder is already pretty 1 Button like with his q would Just love the Other spells to be usefull and fun to use aswell even if it Comes at the Cost of a worse q. 1 Button delete Champs got removed for a reason and they gotta tweek it no matter what ^^

@@RomGomLP spells can fulfil dual purposes, look at Ahri W when they added the MS boost it became a defensive tool for juking enemy skill shots easier or Pyke R: some Pyke mains late game use it as a positioning tool since it blinks him to the X if it hits an enemy champ so he can land a clutch E in a fight. Smolder E seems to me to be a kiting/escape and chase tool since it gives 100% MS, lets u hop walls and gives u auto targeting shots. Akshan E is pretty similar in purpose to Smolder E tbh since they both give alternate movement methods while auto targeting enemies that are close to u while dashing

@@Crescendobro but akshan E procs onhits like PTA and also resets after takedowns. I really thought smolders would work similar since then you could use it to engage with the lockon hits for PTA then use other abilities

@4:40 kinda easy fix to illaoi is to make her tentacles spawn not at the wall only but on the ground too (like when u ulti) they still can only spawn in a fixed distance from each othe.

I think that they should make illaoi that the far she is from the wall bigger/longer the tentacle will be. This way she will have short and long tentacle to make it balanced but can still be effective in toplane

i had one where i played briar ADC with a bard, a i was at 300 hp, so i charge e to stay alive and knock yas into a wall, a enemy kayn comes flying over that same wall, bard ults me, so my e goes off while in bard ult stuns them both, my gnar flys in while they're stunned and extends it by ulting them into the same wall and i get a double kill and live it was insane lmfaooo

I must confess that I am exited for SMoled. He is cute, voicelines that make me smile and gameplaywise he seems fear? I mean maybe his number are too high, but after balancing him a bit, i think he is fine. I see nothing frustrating in his Kit... The execute seems to be OK, and the E is not a Fizz E. I can't belive it isn't like Fizz E, because so it is fair.

I think his numbers seem high because, well, offense is about all he's got. He starts off pretty weakish, and his passive rewards you for farming well. If you can't last hit, Smolder is useless to you, because he doesn't have any utility, defenses, and barely has short-term mobility or cc for that matter. He's all damage, and pretty straightforward as Dragons be, but I wouldn't mind if he got toned down -just- a bit.

what high numbers, for a very fed smolder he did not seem to be doing a lot of dmg, even more so in this meta where burst is king, he does not have the dps of a pure ad carry and he does not have the burst of a midlaner , his range his pretty bad too, honestly from what I have seen outside of his ult he seem pretty meh. Ap assassin are broken right now too and there is no way smolder has a good matchup against akali,fizz and diana

Seeing turret in the actual middle of a lane is so cursed.

Man smolder is neat. Its always nice to see infinitely scaling champs. I feel like he needs a bit of a tuneup later on. Also, i wanna see a syndra video one of these days please.

You can probably get a bunch of stacks on the grublings if you go help your jungler on the grubs! 12 of them spawn every few seconds so if you get a good Q you could get 30-40 stacks while helping

I don't think this works, because Nasus cannot stack off them, however Sion can, so it does need testing to verify. I assume he is more like nasus, since it's spell stacking as opposed to passive stacking, so keep your hopes moderated.

How does Runaan's work on Smolder? Does it make his E split, or cast extra bolts when Q is used? If either work, do they carry across their on-hit/on-kill properties? I hear they made it work on Ez Q, so it seems like it should absolutely work with Smolder in some way. Smolder Q seems to grant a stack on any kill, champs included. It doesn't show the stack generation (+1 stack when it gives +2), but watching the video shows that it's giving 2 stacks for killing with Q. Can you check if the voidmites spawned by void grubs count as valid stacking targets for Smolder? I know they're valid for Bel'veth empowered ult form, causing them to respawn as melee voidlings after the voidmites die, so they're probably closer to minions than jungle mobs. Then again, they only do that when spawned by 5-6 stacks of void touched or from using herald's charge. Smolder E seems incredibly underwhelming. It only gives 1 stack per unique champ hit on cast, it deals no damage, and the way trait calculates damage (added damage over the full duration) makes it seem like stacking crit actually makes it deal less damage. It's interrupted when any opponent displaces or controls Smolder and is cancelled if Smolder uses any abilities. It seems to even be disproportionately affected by slows for being +100% movespeed. There's a lot of space to make it more useful without increasing damage output, hope they figure something out.

Regarding Illaoi, they buffed her mana to compensate for more Qs to push wave past middle. It doesn't affect seasoned illaoi players because if we fight af the center even before this season it's not ideal. Push all the way up or freeze and distance aren't an issue. Plus, next patch, I think they are increasing tentacle slam reach to help further

Say I think exchanging the collector for something else after Q get the execute factor would be better for this item build... Love thy videos, Zwaggy 😊

I’m loving the Smolder videos and Smolder as a champion! I think you should try maxing E second, so you have more kiting capabilities by reducing the cooldown, and I don’t think W is so important for his kit. Try it if you want!

They are gonna give Illaoi's tentacles 125 range so they can attack from the walls, but that feels like it's gonna be busted in jungle fights

illaoi being bad might be the most fun change possible

Second skin of the day: Default Smolder.

Smolder's cooldowns are pretty large for a stacking/spamming character, with the exception of Q. I think that's the main thing that's going to prevent lethality/AP builds from being effective. That and he just doesn't stack very fast compared to someone like Veigar or Nasus or even Asol. His scalings aren't crazy either even with the added damage from his passive and his Q's range is low enough that he needs to get into danger every time he wants to poke with something other than his W (and his E has such a long cooldown that he can only escape every 2nd attempt or so.) Overall, they really did design him in such a way that he kind of feels like an Ezreal spam champ or Kogmaw cheese but just doesn't have the ability to really pull it off. Also, most games are going to end before he even gets to use the fun part of his kit.

Don't forget that Smolder gets stacks for just simply hitting enemy champs with his abilities.

when Illaoi ults it doesn't care about map terrain it will just spawn tentacles within a radius of her.

Very occasionally they spawn outside of range of the targets that spawned them. It's pretty rare, but has happened. I guess it's still a better system than now, tho.

It really feels like the game is in fast pace but it is actually 35 minutes

Wanna a fix for Illaoi? Play her support! Here's a silly build: Bloodsong, Dead Man's, Hullbreaker, Sterak's, Sundered Sky and Boots (yeah, it plays around her high Base AD, the highest in the game not counting Mega Gnar).

This is actually hilarious. I was in Nashville.. the year there was a tornado i think 2020? When you get stacks from hiting champs with smolder Q it doesnt show plus 1 but you do get the stacks so if you last hit a champ with his Q you get two stacks

I watched all your smolder videos multiple times, you were one of the first tank smolder. I have been looking at everything. He gains damage from every stat but health. One item first that. He stacks, and with grasp He tech, double stacks dmg with the hp. His Q applys all on hit and ability style effects. The three main weapons he needs, in my opinion. Titanic, BoTrK, mask, stacks botrk, his natural burn, the mask...%hp damage, then he stacks hand dmg...oh I forgot it has sustained because of the life steal, everything after that is situational based. Ice rod, all slow cc on all abilities

Pretty sure Illaoi is better Mid at the moment because the of the distance between mid walls and tentacles
