I think Skinner only punishes Bart becuase of him breaking rules, not because he dislikes him. He's nice to Bart outside of school, maybe because he was the person Skinner wanted to be.

I hope they keep writing episodes like Road to Cincinatti or Game Done Changed where Bart still is a stone in Skinner shoe but Bart actually trying to get him out of what he believes is a miserable life

What I like most about Seymour is (for the most part anyway) he is one of the few characters on The Simpsons who will stick to his morals. I mean he actually cares about the school and the children and he isn't mean for the sake of it, only when someone really annoys him

I personally wouldn't have minded the "Armin," plot twist had the writers started leaving hints/clues that Skinner wasn't as he appeared in earlier seasons. It would have been great had it been planned from the start. Also I love the idea of Skinner being an, "young rebel," drawing further parallels between him and Bart. So different yet so alike. I do find it fitting though that both Seymour and Bart died together in an manner of speaking.

@@Lord_Foxy13 Thanks. I wouldn't have minded that episode so much if they had hinted at it so much earlier and didn't treat the real war hero in such a disrespectful manner. Too many it was an, "jumping the shark," episode to me had Skinner been alluded to from the start as an imposter or at least hinted at in a season or two before hand the Principal and the Pauper episode would have been so much better and enjoyed both the staff and the audience in my opinion. Also it would have been better to show the "real Seymour," Get fed up with the wackiness of Springfield and just walk away angry giving the Seymour we know and love his life back and just go out on his own far away from Springfield thus returning the status quo that the Simpsons love so much. Haha.. Sorry for the long response that's how I would have personally would have went about it.

I see the name "Armin" my mind immediately goes to Armin Arlert. That the emotional parts of that episode hit me like a tank full of laughing gas.

As much as I'm happy that Edna found true love with Ned before the character's passing, I still think she should've been with Seymour. They were adorable and Grade School Confidential is STILL my favourite episode to this day (I just have a bias for Edna-centric episodes, she's my fave!) Edna broke the status quo of the show on several occasions, she should've been the woman who helped Seymour become an independent man. Their proposal/wedding episodes would have been so much better if Seymour wasn't written to be such a coward in them. Edna seemed to bring out his boldness, meanwhile Agnes just crushed it back down. :(

To me, Grade School Confidential should have been Edna's final character arc. It would have been her natural and perfect ending. People can like and support Modern Simpsons all they want, but if the show ended after season 8 or 9, she would still now be ALIVE and happy ever after. NOTHING will change my mind about that.

Proudest moment for me with Skinner was him taking out 'DIZ-NEE' executes for trying to take down his school carnival. Never make an ex Green Beret mad! Copywrite expired!

The episode showing Skinner having a heart attack at 119 kind of helped explain the extreme ages of Mr Burns, Grandpa, etc. I took it as a fact that Springfielders live well into their 100s on a regular basis (unless killed by runaway wheelchairs).

@@TheSimpsonsTheoryIt might be a positive consequence of the nuclear power plant. Might also explain their lack of aging. Jay Namahasapeemapetilon is an example of being portrayed as actually growing up over the course of the show, as he left the town.

I still wish Skinner and Edna got married. Not that I hate Ned with Edna( because she deserves happiness too ❤) but they felt perfect.

Even though Edna found love with Ned Flanders, I think Edna pushed Seymour to stand up for himself. If not for the writers making him a milksop, they would have been happy.

Seymour is the Perfect Foil for Bart's Pranks or Lisa's Activism.

2 part question on this one 1. Can we get a professor frink timeline? His story is dark when you realize his run in the show is leading up to his death where his child self steals his technology 2. Some one should do a video on the Simpsons time line being a quantum superposition of all possible pasts, presents, and futures. That explains why you can have contradictory events. I have never seen of the major Simpson themed channels do it. Skinner is both Seymour and Arman until you actually "look" at his past. By look I mean you put him in a story where his past is in the story.
