Indiana Jones' popularity alway blew my mind. At the time, there was no shortage of adventure films with protagonist dressed exactly like indy, but I guess Indiana jones just does it right. Its just crazy that nobody watches the predecessors of the genre

In 1917 and 1918 Indy was in WWI, There's a movie about it called The Trenches of Hell.
