Young Indiana Jones chronicles were great! Even had appearances from Harrison Ford himself.
I love how Young Indiana Jones is canon since Indy references Pancho Villa in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

That reference did not deem the show canon... The show was made by George Lucas himself, and Harrison Ford even made an appearance in one of the episodes....... Do you know anything about this franchise kid?
I always thought the Young Indy series was like canon-adjacent fan fiction, but presented like this, it actually fits in pretty easily. Who knew?

Crystal skull is actually rlly great. It has the new theme of dealing with aging. Dial of destiny while sad, is heartfelt and surprising. Deals with moving on from the past and living in the present. The hate for the franchise is so silly, the movies have always been the same in spirit, but each one brining something different and leaves a great message
Glad you included Young Indy, many love to disregard it for various reasons.

I like these “Cram it” types of videos. HOWEVER, I need one for the “Mission Impossible” movies. That franchise is a bit complex. I can’t remember every character tie-in.
TFW you realize Young Indiana Jones has more screentime than Harrison Ford.

Wow; Indy really got around. What a life!
Thats one hell of a life!! Although Young Indy really had its goofy tacky moments, im glad they kept it canon. Great video! Well done.
Excellent recap, thanks. Disney+ is currently airing all of the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. Am sorry Dial of Destiny was not the blockbuster everyone wanted it to be. I was hoping interest would be generated to continue more adventures of Young Indy. George Lucas wrote 70 episodes, only half were produced before the series was cancelled. If finished it would have taken timeline up to the start of the movies.
This was well done, which ever of the crew contributed, it reminds me of when Danielle profiled the Hulk, with great attention to history and to details.

The old Indy of the nineties was omitted from the DVDs, perhaps it's not canon, but if nothing in Dial of Destiny conflicts. . . . The show needs a blu ray, any boxset calling itself complete is false advertising when lacking the television series

Indiana Jones and the Monkey King In 1985, Columbus wrote a script for a third Indiana Jones film entitled Indiana Jones and the Monkey King. Columbus' script included Indy taking a trip with his assistant Betsy to a secret city protected by soldier gorillas and governed by the evil Monkey King. According to Columbus, the script was written so that the story didn't appear too similar to the previous film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. However, at the end, Columbus' script was rejected and the film was finally released in 1989 under the title Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and directed by Steven Spielberg. In 2017, Columbus' script was adapted into a five-part live reading/audio drama on the Alcohollywood podcast.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis HAS to be canon.
My uncle showed me his VHS of Radiers in the late 90s and he told me Indy eventually died in 1993 and was born in 1900. That meant he died at 93, which was a long time and I never fact-checked him. This was an interesting video, and my uncle said he was right bc Indy was not seen past 1994. Idk why i believe him, I just do 🤷♂
9:59 😂😂 it does
26:00 What's the film?
Nothing about the quality & nature of the TV stuff ever made me feel it was remotely connected to the movie material. Just leveraging a marketable brand name. Why do I feel that was more Lucas than Steven.
The brawl scene between the high school jocks and the bikers was pretty hilarious not just in the fourth film, but also because in a lot of stories where the main female character has two male love interests, one is often a high school jock and the other is often a delinquent who rides a motorcycle and is part of a biker gang. Though I wasn't a fan of the choice of background music that they played during the scene.
