The thing that makes people like that sound unhinged is when they act like ZH is some kind of apologist even when he's included very unflattering aspects about Hitler in his documentaries. Merely not being biased against him looks to them like bias in favor of him

Please watch the video debunking this, the things Zoomer pushes are misleading and it's important to question both what you see commonly and what you're told contradicting that. The video is by "What Why How." If he is who you're referring to when you say "Some hater" I hope you take a step back and try to consider who's actually making arguments in good faith and providing substantial evidence without glossing over anything.

@@Michael_HS What exactly is this channel? This is literally an echo chamber except for a few comments that get written off as brainwashed or the likes very often. Many of Zoomer's videos contain literal German propaganda almost verbatim. Just because something is uncommon doesn't mean it's more true, and just because something is common doesn't mean it's less true. Echo chambers exist everywhere, in the mainstream and the far circles of politics and such. You can never be fully enlightened and when you see so many people so sure that they are aware of some niche aspect of a topic that very few others know about and that all others are like that because they were brainwashed or mislead, it's a pretty heavy indicator that you're in an echo chamber. I have considered what exists from my point of view multiple times and looked up many things contradicting it like this, but I never write them off as propaganda, I look into it and see if they actually are. This video was truly amazing. It is remarkable, how well Zoomer explains all those political entanglements and gives interesting insights into Hitlers thinking. It is well deserved, that the patron list seems to keep growing every vid!

Its sad but does anyone else feel more and more depressed as u go from the great years of rebuilding germany in the 30s to the end of the war. I always have this with any ww2 docus or films. I am supposed to feel good that the war ended and europe can rebuild. But somehow i feel that something died back then that was essential to european prosperity.

His generals lost him the war. He wanted to take the Caucuses oil fields, not Moscow, AND he wanted to prepare at Normandy. Unreal. Other tidbits, the German army didn't prepare winter clothing to invade Russia, and they made him jet fighters, not bombers as promised. Astonishing, really, and that's to say nothing of the betrayals.

Read Ernst Zundel's court case transcripts, you can read both lawyers cross-examine experts. Its elucidating. You and WhatWhyHow know nothing but mainstream narratives. Hey ZH, topic idea for a video to suggest - the "denazification of music" in the post-war years. There's a book called 'The War on Music' or something like that which would make a good start to research, but basically, the Germanic lineage of musical composition which had stretched back some 500 years was deemed 'music of the bad political party' in the art circles and the direct continuation of that cultural vein was rabidly aborted. Much room for speculative musicology in considering this turn of events, especially while juxtaposed with listening to contemporary "hit-makers" like Minaj, Swift or Gaga and imagining what could've been to have had a contemporary pop music genre that was more thoroughly borne of high art instead of Andy Warhol-tier banality.

yes, I grew up being told the same narrative that WhatWhyHow believes. Then I read the Patton Papers, a collection of General Pattons writings, and I read the Nuremberg Papers, a collection of court transcripts, and I read revisionist trial transcripts to I could read the lawyers debate and cross examine experts and witnesses. There is so much factual history you were not taught, and because of people like WhatWhyHow, you will never seek out this factual information for fear that its socially unacceptable. You really need to read the books and documents I mentioned. You will no longer believe in nonsense. ww1 and ww2 were done by internationalists seeking to destroy nationalism. General Patton said "we fought the wrong enemy" then died in a mysterious car crash where no one else got hurt. It's high time people woke up to reality. There's a recent youtube video which attempts to debunk a lot of this series. Some of the arguments are pretty bad, others are somewhat reasonable. Of those, are the claims regarding the lethality of defective British naval artillery AA during the Battle of Britain. I had some fun arguing with the video creator and some of the other reddit tier comments. Perhaps at some point you might be interested in doing an inspection of those counter claims, but I understand this is not the primary purpose of this channel.

@@atarirob Everyone has bias. It is even better then to eviscerate these bad arguments. Do you seriously not believe that ZH has admiration for AH? I certainly have admiration. Bias is irrelevant. Truth is more important, but what is arguably more important than even truth is life and victory, which requires the humiliation of people who are your political, and thus fundamental, enemies. Of course, this is all a bit hyperbolic, but it is true. Politics is warfare with only the implication of violence. So, I encourage people to respond to critics, which are themselves also propagandists.

It isn’t very good, I watched some of it. It’s fairly disingenuous. One of the first arguments is that H hates Slavs because he didn’t like seeing them in Vienna. It’s fairly clear that’s more a hatred of multiculturalism and of seeing his own stock being marginalised than of Slavs themselves, but that’s the kind of content you’re dealing with. Since it appears on searching your actual handle I figured i would point it out. Maybe you want to respond to it, maybe you don’t. Either way, keep up the good work! You’re doing everyone proud.

i think these videos are good and all but some of this is extremely hard to follow along with where i just nod my head continue to listen despite not understanding some bits. I'll sometimes replay the stuff I didn't comprehend but it still wont make any sense. I think its due to the fact that a lot of this is detailed information that has so many german or foreign names or random events that i lose focus of what is even being discussed. A lot of it starts to sound like a giant run on sentence much like musical wankery found in progressive metal bands. With that being said, most of the video is good though there's just parts where it starts to get confusing and nonsensical to me.

What i love about this series is how it deconstructs the cartoonish presentation of this period that is widely promulgated and propagandized. This is a far more measured, rational and well reasoned presentation than even the "not like other historians" struggle to address. The truth is frankly mundane. Not disney stuff.
