I want her or America Ferrera to win the Oscar. Both of them had such fierce, independent yet vulnerable roles in their respected films.

Fantasia has always had a natural alluring aura to her. She is stunning !

Jennifer did really good interviewing them all without any overshine for each cast member. I was able to get a feel for everybody ❤

They stole most of the script and scenes from a funny play version reenactment from students from Lakewood High School in Saint Petersburg, Florida. They did dis in 2011 all the videos r deleted so they can lie and take credit 4 other people's ideas 💡 they thought 💭 we forgot. the book is different from dis.

We had tickets to the JHud Show taping and a few days before the they offered a chance to see it before the taping. That was a blessing in itself, but then find out the date of the taping the cast was the guest, we were so happy. We did not know what our show was about.@@thehoneydeev

You can see the passion this cast has. Wow. You very rarely see this passion between a cast and a film, obviously it’s incredibly special.

One thing I love is how these sister praise each other. Regardless if Tasia is in the spotlight or not, they are happy and present for each other. No jealousy, no envious, just loving one other. Sisters, we must hold each other up like this!!!

After committing to going to see the movie, the day after Christmas, I wasn't sure if I should. This is because I realized that when I had saw this movie years ago, it was a melancholic movie. I am an instructional paraprofessional, at Cincinnati Public schools. I was truly enjoying my winter break and I didn't want to engage in anything that would change the joy that I was experiencing. I decided to go ahead and go to the theater, anyway. This movie is AMAZING!

Fantasia is my fav 🥰💕 She has always , always been so freaking beautiful to me and to see how far she came is truly an inspiration. Cant wait to meet them some day 🎉👑

It's incredible to see black power all over my screen when I watched this interview. We've certainly, rightfully so, made it so extremely far and to be able to still be breathing in this era when black power is being celebrated and honoured. It's fantastic y'all. JHud did an incredible job with this interview. I say so with all goodness because she's always been my girl. Seeing the gifted Fantasia, wow! Taraji, she's a force with every role she's given. Danielle, damn.... They all deserve an award for their performance in this movie. 🎉🎉

The 1985 version of The Color Purple is one of my all time favorite movies. I was not even 10 years old the first time I saw it. I can literally find it on tv and no matter what part the movie was on, I would sit and watch. There are so many beautiful moments of strength, love, and perseverance in this movie. I look forward to seeing the new movie and know I will love it just as much! God is all over this group of amazing performers/artists. I teared up several times watching this video.

Great interview! Interesting to see this earlier interview after different layers of drama and revelation I’ve been hearing about since. I wasn’t sure, and still don’t know, how much is real or how much is folks trying to bring black folks down, which crossed my mind. But the movie was beautiful and well worth seeing, no matter what! It brought me to tears more than once! It made me smile, made me think, and it made me feel. Well done everyone! And again, great interview, Jennifer!
