Love it, love it. When they looked at each other. Danielle started that Alto melody and Fantasia popped the top on Sparano, locked in on the 2nd note. They both closed their eyes. It was done! Church began! The harmony, texture, color and blend. 👐🏾 they kill't it.

Their blend is everything!! I had to throw in the tenor while they sang 🙌🏾🙌🏾. I have always loved Fantasia. It doesn't take much for her to take us to church, and I'm here for it!

Danielle will walk with the Oscar. And it will be for all of the women who went home empty handed with the first film. Seriously! The power of this movie’s legacy is in those fine performances back in the mid 80’s. It will happen. It has to happen, because she is that talented.

I still remember the night Fantasia sang "Summer Time" on American Idol. That was the night that it was clear to everyone watching that she was going to win it all. Danielle was so good in Orange is the New Black. It's easy to forget that she was just playing a role. I'm so happy for these two. I think they actually pulled off a Color Purple remake. I'm stunned, and I can't wait to see it.
