Talking about trooper armour, I always wrote it off as useless but in hindsight the fact that it protects from secondry dangers like gases, temperature, ect alone is reason enough to wear it. Even completely discounting it as protection vs guns, it's still functionally a spacesuit. For an army designed to fight on many diffrent worlds, that's kind of mandatory.

Idk if clone armor does it, but storm trooper armor spread the impact out so it would work more like a stun bolt too. The Empire usually had enough troops to win the fight even if half of em got knocked out, but it's hard to send reinforcements all the way to the Outer Rim if a few die. That's why they always collapse. They usually weren't actually dead, just unconscious

What never made sense to me, is that if the Kaminoans were such expert cloners, you'd think they'd have intricate knowledge of how humans work down to the cellular structure. And with Jengo Fett and other mercenaries helping them design things, how on Kamino did the Phase 1 armor come out uncomfortable and painted in a spectrum that Kaminoans should very well be aware that humans can't see?

  • @flaviomonteiro1414

They focused on higher survivability and protection instead of comfort. Just like in the medieval times, while most armor was quite comfortable and allowed knights to mount and dismount without help, there was some armor that offered protection but was uncomfortable and bulky and was only used in tournaments (Justas) and while riding horses because they aim to protect the wearer for lance impacts and shrapnel.

Me: (After seeing the title and length) Oh this must be a compilation of all his previous videos discussing Clone Armor, Weapons, and Vechicals, so I don't have to watch the whole thing before commenting as I've already watched all those videos, so I'll just watch the first few minutes then skip to end before commenting something and then go watch the other stuff I need to. Me: (After the first few minutes) Okay this is a completely new video, which means I'll have to watch the whole thing before I comment. This is going to take a while. Me: (After finally getting through the whole video) Welp, I had to do a bunch of other stuff while watching this video, clean my ears, work on fanfics, eat dinner, and so on, but I finally got through it. It was incrediable, but a little too long. Now on to my actual comments: 9:17-9:23: Yeah, but that one danger has been responsabile for the death of 1/3 of all Star Wars characters, so I feel people should be more concerned with that giving how many people have died by getting shot by a blaster. The other 2/3 of deaths come from Lightsabers and explosions, with a small percentage being other forms of death such as falling, force chocking, blunt weapons, and so on. 16:09-16:13: So The Clone Advisor for Delta Squad wasn't the only one to still use Phase 1 armor by the time of the Battle of Kashyyyk. 40:25-40:28: A blaster that can take down most with a single shot, my argument that people should be more concerned with blaster technology is getting stronger. 56:15-56:20: What about Hardcase? Or was his a different type of gatling gun? 1:16:00-1:16:13: Oh that's cool and sweet. It's nice to see it's not just the Bad Batch and Omega that are attached to their IM-6. And it looks like me doing the same with my IM-6 OC in my The True Jedi Way fanfic was accurate to the franchise. 1:46:45-1:46:57: I knew the ones at Jaibbm were prototypes, but are you telling the ones seen in Jedi Fallen Order and the first two seasons of Star Wars Rebels were also just prototypes since the Galactic Civil War didn't offically start until season 3 of Rebels in 2 BBY and you said the proper AT-AT didn't premier until the Galactic Civil War?

An proved to be quite deadly. Even against the WORST an deadliest creatures an fighters alike the Galaxy had ever made. Also noticed with things like the Katarn Class armor.. what they SERIOUSLY needed was a wide spread version of THAT to keep hella lot more Clones from being injured or KIA in battles that they MIGHTVE otherwise fought the CIS to a draw or stand still an maybe even long enough to turn around an win instead of lost.... Lil things like that tend to help make HUGE differences in massive important battles when multiplied bt numbers of exceptional trained an very well equipped forces

Beats the overkill bulkiness of the Imperium of Man's Space Marines and the... excess appearance of the Future Warrior program, these guys. Now, if only personal shields and interchangeable weapons are the norm even for, well, "basic shinies".

Protective against what? outside of the Star Wars Small arms I've never seen a clone or stormtrooper armor that was able to stop even a single blaster bolt

Do you think some Alpha ARCs like Alpha 17 had a mutation which increased their testosterone or took steroids? bc Alpha-17 is massive

Randomly switching to a picture of an E-WEB or a random blaster rifle while talking about other stuff is a bit annoying. If you don't have enough images of AT-TEs to fill that amount of time, just like the images hang for longer.

I terribly regret to inform you that your editor has an unhealthy obsession with flamethrowers and the various cod pieces of the clones and kaminoians...

This channel absolutely destroys Star wars theory with its universal kick ass production and passion and honesty. Free from arrogance unlike a certain youtube channel. Keep it the great passion hobbies Geetsly and always stay humble no matter what. The force is with this channel for sure ya'll.
