The Clippers had a weak response to the Donald Sterling saga - Marc J. Spears | The Jump
Спорт
Ramona Shelburne and Marc J. Spears join Brian Windhorst and Royce Young to discuss "The Sterling Affaris," a 30 for 30 podcast series executive produced by Shelburne, detailing the situation during the 2014 NBA playoffs when an audio recording of then-LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling making racist statements rocked the league, and almost led to the Clippers boycotting their game vs. the Golden State Warriors. The podcast includes interviews with the likes of Doc Rivers and Blake Griffin.

Steve Ballmer has created a better image for the Clippers franchise. They can finally become a real NBA team.
Did anyone ever find out who recorded Donald Sterling's conversation with his "assistant/companion? Did that person ever give a reason for releasing it? As someone who had no skin in the game, I was bothered that a private conversation between two people was released and it would lead to a man being forced to sell the team.

You can say the jersey gesture was weak, but they dragged their feet all game and lost. The commissioner did the right thing
