Loneliness is one Hell of a feeling, literally. It's one of the most emotionally distructive things a human can experience. And believe me I know.

I see loneliness as one of the most widespread and dangerous problems we suffer from in the modern day. It's like a plague. Even a lot of people who have fairly active social lives say they often feel lonely.

@@VampireA1056 One thing that helps is to make sure you do more interesting things with your friends. Don't let yourself get bored of them. Mix things up if you can. Plan interesting events, etc. It's not guaranteed to cure that feeling, but I often find that boredom, anxiety, and loneliness are often part of the same thing. Also, think about how you could open up more to your friends about things that are bothering you. I often felt lonely around my friends until I was able to talk about my problems with them.

@@TheGreenKnight500 Thanks for your advice man, I'll try to do these things, Also most of my loneliness comes from a "love" aspect and also feeling outcasted in a friend group, But I'll be okay, I appreciate you trying to help, So again thanks.

@@VampireA1056 I've been there, and as far as romantic relationships go, I'm still there. Whatever you do, keep in mind that loneliness is very common these days. Don't do what I did for years and beat yourself up over it thinking there's something wrong with you. It's not your fault that you were born into a culture that's become so fractured and messed up. What you can do is find ways to adapt and forge a new path. You have to think outside the box a bit and find ways make your life more meaningful and interesting. It's more of a process than a goal, so don't worry about specific targets you need to hit. Look at your past and think about times you felt wonder, or love, or excitement, and remember how they feel. Remind yourself that you WILL feel those again someday as long as you keep nudging yourself in new and interesting directions.

I think out of all the manga I have read, this one has impacted me the most. This is by far my favorite and I’m sad there is no English prints yet. Those final two chapters brought me to tears. Such a beautiful story. Thanks for covering it!

My favorite manga of all time, I read this manga last year at a time where I was at the most terrifying moment of my life during a time where I felt alone. I thought since I was able to handle things on my own but I was sorely mistaken and it lead me to a bad situation. I thought there was no way out at this painful time. This manga was one of the few things that got me to think of something else and in a way helped me.

The best moments in life for my growth have been when alone...in complete solitude. It's like a bath for the soul. The meditation book called 30 Days to Overcome Loneliness by Harper Daniels was helpful for me.

I've been alone all of my life for as long as I remember. I don't know if I like it, or if I'm just used to it, but I do know this: being lonely does things to you, and feeling shit, and bitter, and angry all the time just eats away at you.

I’ve heard so much about this manga. I read parts of it and it’s one of the genres I enjoy the most. I wish there were more stories like this that dealt with loneliness. I’m not a climber but I do a lot of hiking/rucking. Currently serving as a grunt in the Corps and I can relate to the loneliness.

The artstyle looks good, quite wild for a seinen theme. I, unfortunately wasn't born with a daredevil spirit so all the tales of "the thrill of almost dying" are quite alien but interesting to me.

This sounds like a mixture between Man vs. Self & Man vs. Nature. The loneliness and isolation that the individual faces as he travels alone but deals with the psychological impact that is being alone. The latter, I could assume from my perception, are the obstacles that rock climbing/mountain climbing. History teaches us that those who live for the thrill are either brave or reckless. For example, Mount Everest is the tallest geographical wonder of the world. Many have tried and attempted to reach the top. Those fell into demise are swallowed by the harsh, cold forgotten by time. They act as “checkpoints” or reminders to those that face the adversity of climbing. Rock climbing may be a semi dangerous activity, but mountain climbing is the most harshest. Going back to the loneliness and isolation, I tend to forget that sometimes when an individual is alone for prolong periods of time. Hallucinations, self-delusion, despair kicks in. As we have seen in the first and seventh episode of The Twilight Zone the human is a social creature. We need interactions and justification for living. The first is a psychological experiment and training for astronauts preparing to go to the Moon during the mid-20th century. The latter was some social experiment on what is real and what is human.
