The reason why the biopic wasn't a flop was because the right ppl were involved in its making. Look at who the executive producers were Missy Elliot, Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah. These women grew up listening to the Clark Sisters so they would definitely do the biopic justice. They would make sure the Clark Sisters got the recognition they deserve. On top of that the Clark Sisters themselves were heavily involved in the making of the film unlike other biopics done for Aaliyah and Britney Spears didn't have the support of the artist or the artist's family. Any biopic done on Lifetime can be good as long as the right ppl are involved in the making of the film. I personally don't think Lifetime ruins these biopics. I think its the creators and the producers who ruin it. Lifetime is just the network that airs it.

These women are getting so much backlash for telling the lives they lived for 5, 6, and 7 decades which was snubbed down into a two hour mini story from a viewpoint grounded by their religious upbringing, their COGIC denomination turmoil, along with their family personal turmoils. It's so much to unpack!! Folks expect Christian's even with the best intentions, who lead and demonstrate their salvation in Christ, to not have some flaws. These women including their mother Mattie are no different than the rest of us Christians trying to live right while professing salvation through Jesus Christ to the world. We do not know all the details to their stories nor what they have encountered behind closed doors to deal with the struggles they shared in this movie! I do know that One things for sure and two things for certain, is that I applaud these women for showing how as admired as they are, how highly favored as they are, how gifted and legendary as they are....that their walk in salvation through Jesus Christ is tested in a painstaking way as the rest of us believers. But yet they have NOT lost the Faith nor the belief in GOD no matter what their lives look like to us. I took from this movie to Keep on doing your best even after you stumble, even when you feel you are about to lose your mind, lose the faith, lose sight of God's promises, keep on trying to get it right, keep on praying, keep on believing, keep on interceeding for God to work out our problems!! Amen! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

The first person to tell me I was blessed and highly favored was my grandma. She is in heaven now but I heard this song for the first time at the end of the Lifetime biopic...it has become my favorite song of theirs....Miss you Grandma....❤
