It's great to see Kierra coming into her own, vocally speaking. She looks comfortable doing what she can do and accentuating the parts of her voice that work well for her particular performance. And someone should have lobbed a shoe right up on stage at Karen's head. Simply no reason for someone to do what she did effortlessly on stage. Didn't even break a sweat.

I like the warmth of Kierra’s voice in this video. She really stood out vocally amongst her pears. I also love the contrast between her and her mothers voice. I’m so tired of everyone singing “high”. Low and middle voices matter too lol. But I understand, Kierra is just giving the fans what they want. The constant comparisons to her mother’s vocally range is unnecessary. Not everyone has to be a first soprano like Karen. But the fans of gospel music seem to only care about how high someone sings.

I enjoyed this that Sunday morning on Bobby Jones Gospel (last year 2014) This was powerful and I could feel THE SPIRIT thru the TV!! The Late Andrae Crouch's song! I love Karens 2003 re-do of this. That's when I first heard this song.

Because of the one and the true living God were awesome and wonderfully blessed. To sing for as and to him is a privilege as well as a miracle of praise.

Nunna Yuh bitness I agree generally speaking, but in this case, mama Karen still has it; baby girl (Kierra) can sing in her own right, but power to power...vocal to vocal...mama still wins, hands down. There will come a day when she has to officially pass down the baton, but it was not that day.
