I love how Joy always goes off mic and sings like she's feeling the music so much she can't be constrained. She is so awesome. Love her!

These two together are amazing. NOBODY would contest that. If they can't get it together with just two of them in charge. My whole Beatles having to many in charge theory is obsolete. PLEASE stay together!!! Keep GOING in the interest of MUSIC!!! You compliment each other. Although I can see the personality differences at the end of the screw up with the Kypo. I'm a Civil War re-enactor and absolutely LOVE studying the civil war as a Canadian. I'm in Nashville about every 3-4 weeks where you two met and I hope you don't stop together. The online You Tube video's you guys put out there shows, what a couple of decent people can do in the music industry without fame, or backing or being invited to the oprey or being invited to be famous by other artists. It's very IMPORTANT to the rest of us in the music community who write tunes and aren't famous and will never be, that you continue together with this style of music. It's a major start in life.....for both of you, If you can't get it together, like the beatles couldn't... you will never be the same without each other... keep that in mind... music shows the personality in people on stage.. and I hope to see it further... from both involved..

we old timers call this "mountain holler" music....the CW were maybe the best new version....others call it "Alt Country" or Americana......LP's vintage guitars provide such wonderful tone

@abbymaeandthehomesch true that. Theres something about being onstage in front of an audience that makes you act crazy, hell, i do it all the time. Plus, alcohol is bad for your vocal chords and im guessing from hearing her sing, she's not the type to get drunk before a show.

James Price Because look at them, everyone looks at them like they are in love with each other, and guess what, they probably were, there were definitely sexual tensions or feelings from at least one of them and everyone sees it and comments about it. That causes tensions with their actual relationships too as you can imagine. Joy talked about it in an interview at one point, I can’t remember the specifics, I don’t think she came right out and said they had a thing but she implied that when you spend that much time with someone feelings are bound to happen.

If the civil wars were still together they should of covered the house of the rising sun

I don't think they had an affair but there is obvious tension between them. They made the best decision to separate but once they realized the problem they also lost the muse that they shared to make that much good music.
