The City of Beverly Hills' Unseen Side of Greenwaste

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Up in the foothills of Beverly Hills north of Sunset Blvd, the properties and homes are exceptionally large, some with yards of 2 acres or more. Since there are no alleys for 300s, homes set out fairly good size cart lines, and believe me, the cart variety gets hella funky. Turn Keys, Rotos, Kirks, and RMI's dominate the streets in these highlands, which makes for a perfect and entertaining video. Probably my favorite thing about BHPW is their lime/mint green Turn Keys, Kirks, and RMIs. They just seem to carry a classic feel to them. The different colors of all the carts also make for a great uniqueness that is hard to find in other cities.
Although Beverly Hills is also replacing and buying new CNG trucks, the Curbtenders are quite fun to film and follow. (Even though I came here mainly for the carts). Especially when they pack out on green waste. Unfortunately I lost the driver on a steep hill and could not find him afterwords. Otherwise, I would have asked for hopper shots.
Anyway, thanks a ton to the awesome and friendly driver for making this quite a tiring (because of the steep hills) yet fun morning and afternoon! Don't forget to LIKE and COMMENT!!! :)
Filmed 8/13/15 in Beverly Hills, CA.

Cool truck! The cart variety was awesome. The lime green carts are cool as well. It's refreshing to see a newer Curbtender, instead of only Scorpions. Very smooth driver too. Nice video!

thelyokofannumber1 Thanks! Beverly hills definitely has a lot of cart variety. Well LA seems to be going through a heat wave right now so it was pretty warm.

Nice vid, only 2 things to make it better would be hopper shots and if the new green carts had started to infiltrate these routes lol.

I'm not a big fan of "KIRKTENDER" but I never see trucks like those on greens or on a ACX chassis to begin with so it was interesting to see. I like the flat tailgate, it would look even cooler with a tag. Anyways nice cart variety. WM of Arcadia has carts like those, but they're slowly being replaced with shit rigs. It would be cool to see 300 gallon green containers like SaMo.

South Bay Refuse Thanks for the comment. I too find it surprising that BH never had green 300s. Be cool if they did, though.

Was Beverly Hills that city that decided to mix Recycling and Garbage a few years back and have it sent too a dirt MRF? I recall reading about one of the cities up there doing that? I've always enjoyed watching the Curbtender in action, seems to be a very entertaining trucks to watch IMO. I have a lego model on my flickr page if you haven't already seen that. :-)

Sure is nice to see a new(sh) Curbtender! Any idea how old? Seems like this was before the redesigned body. Always found the Curbtender to be an entertaining truck. Lol was he successful at 8:36 or did he have to get out? Also, found it interesting that this truck didn't have black rims. The trucks look better with the black rims imo. Are they still buying Curbtenders or have they switched like Santa Monica? Great video!

***** Not sure how old these are.... He had to get out at 8:36 but I turned off my camera because my storage was getting full. This truck would look hella better with black rims. I think BHPW has a few with those. I'm pretty sure their sticking with Curbtender, but who know what they might buy in the next few years to replace the diesel Condors.
